Here is a Sports Illustrated pic; I forget which year it originally ran; that was used for the cover of Debonair magazine in November 1996. The magazine is based in India and is that country's answer to Playboy, filling the same niche but without the explicit nudity as the dictates of the culture have a factor in the content.

She looks fantastic! Where is she from????
Serbia.
Please don't tell me she is somehow related to ex-dictator and genocide supporter Slobodan Milosevic of Serbia....

i think is not Marpessa!
Who could it be?

Amber is very pleasing to look at. Thank you for these.
Hey there! I noticed the girl in your avatar pic is wearing a swimsuit similar to the one Amber wore for her first SI Swimsuit issue. Coincidence?

Whoops! I deleted it from the thread...my apologies folks!

a little better image of the Elle cover
I like the resolution on this one. It is sharper and her eyes are even more recognizable. I believe wholeheartedly that those are HER trademark features just like Helena Christensen among HER many attributes !!!!

Thaaanx people! Great ad and cover! Especialy thanks for biggest version of Vogue cover.
tyralover if you have editorial for this Vogue, please, post for us!!!
II love Heidi site!
I'm sorry my sweetie I don't have an editorial that accompanies that great Vogue cover. But hopefully my investigating skills will find something from Ruven Afanador's archives as he takes great pictures and from what I have seen in the last few years, he and Heidi have a good model/photographer relationship. Although....I have to wonder if there is any editorial that accompanies this particular issue. Isn't it normal practice of the editors to run a cover and a related editorial in seperate issues? Italian Vogue normally runs both together but other editions of Vogue don't seem to do so.

TLover- this for me is the most valuable of all the goodies you've posted today!
Tell me about it! I have always admired Susan's Vogue covers from the one where she is covered by golden beads to the German one where she is wearing red and black, they were unique. When I stumbled on to this particular cover, I could barely contain my excitement and OH MY GOD(!!!!) did you see those earings!(?)
Good Lord I have never seen anything like that before and this cover is the best of Susan's three Vogue covers....
