  4. Old but still very beautiful and nice to see thanks
  5. Yep I most Definitely agree. No Doubting her Gene line
  6. I'm glad to see she is back to her gorgeous natural color. She is as gorgeous as always if not more so
  7. For all of my Fellow North American Laetitia fans It looks like she's got a movie (Face) being screened at the Chicago International Film Festival Could this lead to a second US release of one of her films? Lets hope so. I know what I want for Christmas if at all possible Anyway here is the link to the story and below I'll qoute the section on her movie. http://www.chicagoreader.com/chicago/the-r...ent?oid=1209994 "Face Tsai Ming-Liang (Goodbye, Dragon Inn) pays vague tribute to Francois Truffaut throughout this slow, self-indulgent, but often shockingly beautiful art film. The premise—one can barely call it a story—involves a Taiwanese director (Tsai regular Lee Kang-sheng) invading the Louvre to shoot a movie about the biblical character Salome, assisted by such Truffaut veterans as Fanny Ardant and Jean-Pierre Leaud. This is best appreciated for its strikingly composed and often dynamically colorful long takes: the most impressive, coming early in the film, shows a snow-covered forest decorated with tall vertical mirrors that create a complex, almost magical layering of reflections and comically baffle a stag that wanders into the frame. The movie climaxes with a piercingly erotic Dance of the Seven Veils by Laetitia Casta, an ironic ending given that Tsai already seems to have been granted his every wish. With cameos by Mathieu Amalric, Nathalie Baye, and Jeanne Moreau. In French and Taiwanese with subtitles. 141 min. —J.R. Jones Wed 10/14, 8:30 PM; Thu 10/15, 8:15 PM; and Mon 10/19, 3:15 PM." It may not be academy award material or Oscar material but its still two US release films if we're lucky Hopefully just the beginning.
  8. I agree with this comment completely except I'd add a Very before Beautiful
  9. I love this shot. I've never seen this one before Either. Thanks for posting it and the others.
  10. We were all hoping you'd come back with some! haha sorry I wish I could but living over here in the states we dont hear anything on her anymore except what we get online.
  11. WOW I go away and there's absolutely no news of the lovely Miss Casta for three days?
  12. Yes indeed. she seems to come from VERY good Genes though She's beautiful in her own right but..... other members of her family are far far far from shabby too so it does not surprise me she's so beautiful as well.
  13. from here : http://www.gala.fr/l_actu/on_ne_parle_que_...laetitia_187588 WOW!! that is a beautiful image
  14. yes she is and I guess that kind of sums up what is best about her over all. She's a real woman. Not a waif stick figure like so many of them in modeling.
  15. I agree she is a pleasure to see no matter how many times you have seen her work before.
  16. Dont get me wrong. I love her body shape as well I believe she is a great role model to young women to be yourself and be healthy not anorexic for some crazy fashion designer. She was once told to get her breasts reduced and she refused. she was told to get her teeth fixed and she said something along the lines of "if you dont like me like I am then I will go home" Not an exact quote. She is a great person because she has refused to change and stayed grounded. to me she is the epitome of what a woman should be Beautiful, down to earth and open (as open as she can be that is)
  17. Yes but it was a good move for her to get ready for when her modeling was not going to be as much. I have the same problem as you though in that she is no longer known over here in the US. I have been lucky though and found so far 6 North American copies of her movies on DVD. My favorite still by far though is "The Blue Bicycle" "La Byclette Bleue" about NAZI occupied France and the Resistance. I agree with you she has an air of innocents about her. The first photo of her I ever saw was on the cover of a Victoria's Secret catalogue at my sisters house she'd left it out on the counter in her kitchen. I was captivated by the photo because she's so beautiful in it and yet her smile and expression came accross as very approachable if you were to see her in the open. You know as long as you were respectfull and didn't draw attention to yourself and her she'd talk to you for a second and give you an autograph. I remember a story I heard once about her as well. She was on a VS shoot set I believe and there were two other models there with her and some fans had come on the set somehow I think and the other models were complaining about having to put up with it or something like that and walked out but before they did she reminded them that without fans they would be nothing. she stayed and signed autographs for a few minutes. I may not have the story exactly right but she did make the comment Anyway I thought you would like to hear a bit of why I was and still am a HUGE fan of hers. There are other stories too.
  18. She is still amazing in front of the camera I became a fan in 98 and I'm still as big a fan as ever.

  21. NICE Pictures WOW great images. I've never seen them before.
  22. great pictures You know. No matter how often you see her work or how many times you see it. She's always amazing in the way she can grab the viewer. She grabs the camera's attention and never lets it go.
