  1. Ruud Van Nistelrooy is being rumoured to come to Milan

There is no room for him with Sheva, Gila, and Supper Pippo <_<

He's refuted rumours saying his heart is with United. Also wants to stay playing as strike partner with Rooney.

By the way the Madrid game was very interesting, some stunning goals and they nearly made it back from 6-1 1st leg which would have been an amazing turnaround. Although i started to wonder if the ref had been bought as Ewerthon perfect goal was ruled offside, something it blatently was not.

  2. Looks like the Arse are going down, there losing to Liverpool who were having a mini crisis!!!

Bye bye Henry its of to Barca you go, if you have any sense!!!!

  3. Liverpool are set to sign Gabriel Paletta

    http://www.goal.com/en/articolo.aspx?contenutoId=12359

ugh! I don't expect much from him really <_<

Why not? He's was part of a very strong U18 Argentine side a couple of years ago, that if i'm not mistaken won the FIFA U18 championship. There have a been a few sides after him, Rafa may have struck gold with a Hyppia replacement. I'd have been happy if Man Utd had signed him.

  4. :surrender: Just watched Real Madrid get spanked 6-1 by Real Zaragoza, best comedy i've watched in ages. The guys don't even know how to spell defend let alone do it.

    Galacticwhos?

Since when did Real know what defence was? Was it a second string line up or were they playing their first team? Real have been playing quite impressive recently. I was suprised that they were thrashed that hard :|

Real were virtually full strength, including Casillas, R Carlos, Helguera (shocking and subbed), Becks, Guti, Gravesen, Robinho, Ronaldo, and the chap Brazilian Arsenal tried to buy. Zidane & Pavon came on later. They placed 4-1-4-1 with Gravesen "protecting" the back four. Even with that formation they leaked like hell. Ronaldo was non-existentm Robinho just dived for everything, Helguera was a has been, Casilla just laughed half the time at the shocking team in front of him, Robert Carlos a leftback - you must be joking. Funnily enough the only person to have a "decent" try at playing football was Mr lover lover (Beckham).

Real are a laughing stock and it serves them right for breaking allsorts of football rules to finance their club (likeselling their facilities then renting them back with is forbidden by FIFA), and taking government loans. Lets just hope Chelski eventually end up in a similar mess. You can't cheat in Championship Manager by ripping of a huge Eastern bloc country and its people to buy a football club!!!!

  5. he just got angry at being substituted :idk: . . . i think that's understandable if you're egypt's biggest player and you're taken off in a big match in normal time, when you're not even in the lead :cain:

    Mohammed Zidan as well

on a side note, could someone change the description of this thread because the current one makes it sound like the game is played in some sort of underground lair :ninja:

What do you know of Zidan, he was supposed to be a hotshot a few years ago in Norway, now joined Werder Bremen but on loan to Mainz, why did he not feature for Egypt?

  7. Mido's been chucked out of the Egyptian squad :|

i suppose that it might work in Spurs' favour though :shifty:

So I read <_< I was hoping he'd be out for a bit longer :(

    :persuazn:

Its bad news for us cause it means Spurs will win more games instead of drawing :(

Liverpool have 10 games in 36 days:

    including:

v Chelsea (H) in EPL (played)

    v Arsenal (A) in EPL

    v Arsenal (H) in EPL

    v Benfica (H) in UCL

    v Benfica (A) in UCL

v Manyoo (H) in FA Cup

:o It's make or break time, and if we crash out of everything and lose the major games then Spurs will be there to pounce. Spurs + Mido = even more likely we'll end up 4th

You forgot the MIGHTY Charlton!!!!!!!!!! Oh no lost 3 in 4

  8. I'm mixed so i'll talk about each of my sides separately.

My mother's side is Portuguese and we like dark hair, tanned skin(my cousins were crazzy about tans) any colored eyes and typical iberian features. This isn't true for everyone because you have many people who like blonds or redheads etc.

    post-414-1138899657_thumb.jpg

My dad's side is Punjabi, East Indian and there are various different types of people in India and their ideal beauties differ.

Punjabi people are big on fair skin, big dark eyes or hazel eyes, black hair, long straight noses and being tall and 'slim'.

Hi Amber, I'm also of Punjabi origin (Sikh) and you seem spot on with the general views on what we find attractive. There is a big stigma on girls and also lads being fair which is a shame. Although I am quite fair, and indian people tend to think I'm western so it can work both ways! Not too sure on the tall and slim, granted its good, curves are also good. I do find I am attracted to women of the traits you mention, and that extends to Iberian and South American ladies, on a recent visit to Barcelona I came across some real stunners!

Seems like you have the perfect mix of genes! (Who's the photo of?)

  9. What's going on with Sol Campbell? :idk:

dunno . . . he seems to be mentally unstable :ninja:

he's apparently back at training now . . . :idk:

Something not quite right there, but that could be said of the whole Arsenal team

Also what about Barton, ungrateful little s.... After all city did for him he goes an asks for a transfer. He has apologised since but what a nutter. Still its what Man Shity deserve. :yuckky:

  10. He was at a pub apparently, and there were fans telling him to sign God again. So he did

Stop calling him God, he's the opposite. Ronaldinho is a Footballing God, and I wish United had signed him when they had the chance.

Fowler is a Man City reject, could not get ahead of Cole or Vassell for godsake. Is this some compensation for not getting Owen?

By the way Souness has gone!!!!!!!!!! Poor guy, rotten injury luck - maybe he can go an manage Arsenal, migh do a better job then Arswipe Whinger

  11. I think that problem...in Madrid is lack of Makalele.

    CORRECT!

I've only watched Sneijder play a couple times, I know he's good at attacking, but how is he defensively?

    He can learn ;)

He's a great prospect, but does not have the discipline to also defend.

  12. but RvN isn't as good as 2 season ago

Saha is and always was too poor for ManU.

Solskjaer - He is still living ?

Smith - he was playing as a midfielder lately. I hope that you admit he wasn't solid. ;)

He is also too poor for ManU.

The Red Devils deserves better players. Saha and Smith are missed transfers, and I believe that with new owner ManU will start bring better players.

Rubbish, Saha has scored aplenty over last 10 games, he is finally regaining his match fitness which is something he did not have when he joined from Fulham. Everytime he went to play for France they screwed his knee up.

  13. I like Sneijder  Someone should snap him up (Y)

He's good too (Y) but does he still start for Ajax :idk:

:idk: but he was fine at the start of the season. I'd like to see Gago or Maduro being bought up by Liverpool though  Some young talent for the future sure would be nice

Who's Gago, not heard of him, who does he play for?

By the way got over your Man United loss yet, although shouldn't speak to soon with the FA cup looming.

  14. Silvestre is horrible, he makes one stupid mistake a game and Ferdinand is over-rated, I remember when people were saying he's better than Nesta

    Better than Nesta? HA! Never!

Ferdinand does have the skill, but he's really arrogant, and that's why he can't be that great. He thinks too highly of himself. If he'd just put his head down and put in the hard yards and combine that with his skill he'd be a pretty good player. I still rate him as good, but not Nesta good

Sorry Nesta would not last a minute in the Prem, excellent defender but plays a different game. Rio is second best defender in UK after Terry.

  15. Man U signed Patrice Evra from Monaco

    That's a good buy (Y)

Yep. a top top signing. Along with Vidic (who many clubs have tracked for last 3-4 years) he will help make the United defence one of the strongest units in Europe... at last!

United need a couple of very strong midfielders now as the final pieces in the current jigsaw in order to get anywhere near Chelskum's consistency. I was hoping they would go for Gattuso, but not likely. Zokora is possible prospect but not sure if he can make the step up. Gravesen is being talked about, and to be honest have not seen much of him since moved to Real Madrid - so jury is out on him. There is a real lack of Roy Keane type all action midfielders in the current game - any upcoming talent?

    You're a Manyo supprter huh? <_< I'm a Liverpool supporter :o

I'll try to make unbiased comments on Manyoo... no guarantees though :p

Evra and Henize are great. Gary Neville sucks, get a better right back. I have no idea how he's in the England or Manyoo squads. Dump Brown and Silvestre. They're squad players. Vidic and Ferdinand are good.

O'Shea is a bit part player and Fortune, he has no skill. He just fouls day and night.

Midfield: Smith is not a midfielder! Fletcher also has to go. Liam Miller is gone already? He looked good with the Hoops, but haven't seen him at Old Trafford. Play Park Ji Sung a lot more and give Giggs a rest. You're right, you'll need some good mids sooner or later.

Forwards: Though I hate Horseface and Shrek, I must admit that they are good. No need to change there. Get rid of Saha.

Manager: Tell Queiroz to shut up and replace Fergie with Hitzfeld or Capello. Continue playing a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 and everything should be fine and dandy. I reckon Fergie way past his prime. No point appealing to his past glories. That won't get you anywhere if he keeps playing crappy formations.

so yes, :clobber: That is my somewhat "fair" assessment :p

Interesting assessement - can't argue too much and some of it restating the obvious. There are not many decent English right backs at the moment, in fact not that many great ones around at present - Gary gives an excellent overlap option and can put crosses in better than many lesser wingers. Brown is a solid squad player and can get stuck in - and needed to today against a spiroted Burton. Yes Silvestre's a liability but I never rated him as a centre back, left back he is much better, but behind Heinze and Evra if both fit available. United squad is small and lacks depth something all sides barring Chelskum so no point getting rid of players unless sufficient quality and numbers are aquired. I think you are harsh on some players as Smith could become a great midfielder, it can take a player a year to learn a new position and he is still young - although in this day and age no supporter can wait they want an instant player in every department. Fletcher i don't rate buta good commited squad man. Miller on loan to Leeds - you can see the Scots football is light years behind the Prem - he will improve (I hope). Nothing wrong with Saha - you forget he has been injured everytime he has played for France over the last year - he is just starting to get some match fitness and is a useful back up to Ruud & Rooney. Apart from Chelskum's ripped off Russian Billions United would be top of the Prem - enough said.
