  1. Fernando Morientes has decided to end his professional career after 17 years at the big stage

Even at 34 years of age, former Real striker had offers from teams around the world but he has opted to end his career and to focus on his family.

“After 17 years of elite football, this is a complicated time and while I had three months to rethink my future, I will now focus on my family,” said Morientes.

Former Real Madrid striker has recently rejected offers from Qatar, Dubai and Sporting Lisbon and while we will not be seeing him on the pitch any more, he will stay close enough, having already agreed to provide commentary for Europa League matches and Euro 2012 qualifiers for Spanish TV channel Telecinco.

During his professional career, Morientes scored 204 goals in 573 games, while his international record is even more impressive, as he scored 27 goals in 47 matches for the national team.

So today is that day.... Thank you for everything and wish you all the best.

  5. He wil!We will!

Early this year,my friend went to Valencia,Fernando said"todo sera mejor".

yes, every thing will be better!better and better!

    CHEER UP!

You're right...things will be better...we just need to believed in him :)

  6. yes, you're right. He has few chances to perform

even though Deschamp says he believes Fernando,but...in fact,i don't think so.

Hope he still remembers there are still so many people who is suppoting him, much more than that don't understand him

I don't think he believe in Fernando....Even his teammate not treating him all that well from what I hear...

Yea...I wish Fernando can see how hard we're supporting him..Maybe that can lift his spirit to prove those people that dont understand him that they are wrong..

  7. Nando is who should be respected, what a pity, the fans of Marseille can't understand

anyway,he is our proud Fernando, the best Fernando

actually...the one who is complaining now is Deschamp <_< ...he feels that Nando is not doing his best...

How is he supposed to give his best if he hardly get a chance to play..?? :anger:

Even Marseille chairman feels Nando is not given enough chance...

and you're right...he is our proud Fernando...
