    Excited for this, I never understood why VS and Irina didn't work together more. IIRC she's still the face of Intimissimi but hopefully she'll start shooting lingerie for them soon, god knows VS really needs a good model :ninja:

    It has been a long ass time since I’ve been on here. Like more than 2 years maybe. But I saw the new VS stuff with Irina and Joan and was like ok I’ll pop back in. How is everyone?

     

    Ok what’s the status who the angels now?

    SI can put obese girls in the issue or a girl wearing a burkini but they still give the cover to a girl who is famous for her boyfriend. Female empowerment ladies and gentleman. SI is sooooo forward thinking. Hypocrisy at its finest. Claiming they are all about women yeah ok. Go back to being a magazine full of hot girls in bikinis that’s what we want to see. We don’t want a statement.

    Paulina should’ve had the cover over Tyra. Her pictures were far better and she looked incredible. The issue was a complete wreck. They put gurls like Lais, Barbara and Danielle in an awful location with horrible suits. The shots were bad. The Hunter, Halimas of the whole shoot were just no. No good rookies. Quite disappointed.

    I’ve been saying this for a few years. Streaming the show on Netflix would make the most sense because you release the thing in one hit all over the world. The amount of viewership you get would be huge especially if promoted right. This would be the smartest decision for the VS team. 

    I’m sorry this is fucken hilarious. Are they legit with this? As a person who has Arabic heritage I know what the hijab symbolizes in most Arabic cultures. And I don’t give a shit if someone is making a “choice” to wear it but the hijab has been a sign of female oppression for centuries and they are trying to promote it but also have their own PC feminist agenda? How is this ok? This is some bull.

    The quality isn’t the best of that download. I just got it to see the show then at least wait for a better quality version.

     

    Candice and Behati I don’t think even spoke in any backstage segment. Adriana had the most screen time for obvious reasons. I think Jo, Taylor, Jasmine and Martha after that. Elsa, Lais, Sara. The angels I felt like I barely saw were Romee, Stella only on the runways same for Behati and Candice.

     

    If they wanna do 7 runways they really need to make the show 1.5 hours longer. And honestly please take away some performers. It was all way too much.

     

    The shows just don’t improve and they haven’t since 2015 onwards. The moment they stopped highlighting the Angels the show has dipped majorly. I really hope all the negative press they’ve been getting is really going to finally make them see a change is necessary before they completely go under.

    Wow this brand and show really is dead. A couple of years ago the download would be up instantly. Can’t find it anywhere. Obviously the lack of torrents doesn’t help. But even a place I use to get all my shows doesn’t have it.

    THIS! I hope this is fixed ASAP. When they lost swim and the catalog is when the brand started to go down fast. If they bring these two options back. Bring back the glamour into their shoots and get rid of the lackluster people behind the scenes and bring in new fresh people it could change the brand.

    Agreed. They think what they once were is still working and a selling point. And they don’t realize how jaded everyone is.

    I was thinking the same thing. Not that it is a bad idea considering he is quite old and it shows in the way he is thinking :/ He is entitled to his opinions however he is the CMO of major retail company, and keeping up with the times is crucial in order to help a company flourish.

    I hate that the PC brigade is going crazy over this but I’m happy for Ed to be stepped down. A freshness is needed to the VS brand ASAP. Getting rid of the likes of Ed, Monica will be beneficial to the brand.
