From the Rebecca Romijn fanpage:
Rebecca Romijn is joining the already large cast of ABC's "Ugly Betty" as a series regular. She'll make her first appearance on the series sometime early next year. The network says she'll be playing the mysterious masked woman who's been plotting with Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams) to take control of Mode magazine from the Meade family. Presumably the casting of Romijn, a former model, will mean the mask is coming off.
And for the record, that hasn't been Romijn who's been swathed in giant sunglasses and a surgical mask all season. An actress named Elizabeth Penn Payne has been credited as "Masked Woman" in seven episodes thus far. Romijn is probably best known as the shape-shifting Mystique in the three "X-Men" films. She also starred in The WB's series "Pepper Dennis" last spring. Her other screen credits include "Femme Fatale," "The Punisher" and a recurring part on "Just Shoot Me." The addition of Romijn to "Betty" brings the show's number of regular cast members to 12. The show also has a number of recurring characters, including executive producer Salma Hayek, who plays the editor of another magazine in the Meade Publications empire.

It would be better than subjecting pre-born Johan to Barbara Streisand's music.
ZING!
:lullaby:
do you want to say that you wouldn't allow your wife to go where she wants during her pregnancy?
pregnancy is natural thing, it's the last days when you can go where you want without concerns
those males are so selfish
Absolutely not! I have nothing against Heidi doing whatever she wants during her pregnancy. I greatly admire the fact that she keeps working through it all and doesn't use it as an excuse to quit.
I was merely expressing my surprise that she would continue to be active after stating in an interview that she was going to take easy for the rest of the year. But, my surprise is not the same as my disapproval. My idea of taking it easy is lounging around the house, which I understand is not for everyone.
The only thing I disapprove of is her apparent taste in music. (Barbara Streisand :yuckky: ) Although I do like her singing.

Here's a translation of a recent article in Gala from Germany:
http://www.gala.de/titelstory/index.html?id=106579
"He gives me goose pimples"
Heidi Klum- the exclusive interview from Gala about Seal, her first song, "Wonderland", and her third child.
Not far from Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood lies "The Village" - not a village, but actually one of the most famous music studios in the world. The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, the rapper Nelly, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have recorded albums here - the walls are lined with gold and platinum records. It smells like joss sticks; the walls are covered in colorful cloth. Outside, the sun shines, inside it is cool and somewhat gloomy. "We've had everyone here," says Jeff Greenberg proudly on the way to Studio A, "that precisely they sing here one day is a dream for me that hasn't stopped." - Heidi Klum, who is called "You", sits behind a glass wall on a stool, in front of her is a large microphone. Extremely pregnant, her third child is due any day - the calculated date of birth is November 24. Heidi laughs and waves in a short greeting, then dedicates herself again to the refrain: "Wonderland, Wonderland, shining star, jingle bells". Time and time again she must sing the line as the producer Dieter Muller is so quickly not satisfied.
The 33 year old supermodel drove from home to here across Beverly Hills in her Chevrolet. Without her makeup this time, she is missing the usual entourage of hairstylists and make up experts. Heidi in private is comfortably loose. Her hair is tousled with headphones on the ears, wearing jeans, self-made Birkenstocks and a black tank top that strains itself over her enormous belly. On her neck is a gold chain, off of which dangles the glittering names of her dearest: Seal (43), Leni (2) and Henry (1) - and soon another will arrive. Singing should be good during pregnancy, but for therapeutic reasons she is not singing here today: she receives her first single "Wonderland", which will premiere around the world on November 17 and beginning November 22, it will be the background music for Christmas commercials for Douglas.
Hitting the right tones does not always come easy for Heidi. While she files the perfect recording, someone whose voice is universally known enters the parking lot of "The Village": Seal. Stylish in the black Ferrari F430 Spider, which was a birthday present from his wife. He greets Heidi with a kiss, then greets the remainder of the team. He speaks with a soft voice in fine British English, out of his flip-flops protrude black varnished toenails. Always during this he takes pictures for the family album with his digital camera. Photography is Seal's biggest hobby. "Let me hear once," he says grinning as he sits down. Heidi sings, Seal listens, and at the end of the song she comes out of the recording studio and looks at him expectantly. He embraces her. "Beautiful, Schatzi," he says then, laughing, adds "ehrlick!" - his German is getting better. Heidi is happy and strengthens herself with Chinese soup. Seal withdraws to another studio with a friend. He is working momentarily on his new album, which should be released at the beginning of the coming year. After a short recess, Heidi returns to her stool. When the last recording is in the box, it is dark outside, Seal already having returned home to be with the children. On the couch lies her wardrobe, handbag and black MacBook computer. Heidi clears them to the side, and takes time for an exclusive interview with Gala, the last before the birth of her child. We talk about her career, her third child and, naturally, the song "Wonderland".
You are a supermodel, designer, TV-show moderator, entrepreneur, mother and wife - why now add another song?
