Yeah i know but it's the second time she's working with him and he's not an A list photographer.. i'm not saying she can't work with him.. i'm just saying that i wouldn't be suprised if he's working as a creative director on shootings like Fabien Baron.. and so he's not the photographer because it seems strange he works two times in few months with someone like Natasha considering he never did anything "BIG" or never worked with big models.

 

well, shooting for the magazines above is not bad at all. Plus he shot Miranda Kerr, Anna Selezneva, Behati and Abbe Lee just to name a few

Oh I don't know... Again, might be quite a bit distracting and probably not so good for safety and traffic  . Well, my driving skills suck anyway.

 

I like these! I am no fan of Alice Eve, but she and BC look good together.

Perhaps I should re-watch 'Atonement' and see if Sherlock was actually showing a little bit in Paul Marshall though.

Frankenstein was amazing! I seriously envy those lucky people who could watch the live performance. Jonny Lee Miller's Creature blew me away, now I simply must watch the other version and see if Benedict was as good as his co-star (or, who knows, even better, he is quite capable of that).

it was! I mean, when they showed Khan I was like "ah he is so cool! oh, breathe on me someone, please"   and in other episodes I was like "gooooosh, when will it end?" I knew this is not the kind of film I should watch but couldn't help myself checking it out.

I am on my way to watch Inseperable and Atonement this evening :dance:

Well, I am on the fence about these.  I love the styling and the set. Ben’s facial expression is relaxed, the angles are most flattering. And I applaud to whoever did the lighting, it’s truly amazing.

 

That being said, I HATE that crazy airbrushing :anger: . I totally understand that this is a fashion/style outlet and they would photoshop everything they place on its pages. But for God’s sake! He is 37, why did they make him look like he is still in his early twenties (or even younger on the cover)?! Was getting rid of his minor lines and freckles absolutely necessary, as if they were a crime against humanity? And where the hell is my favorite mole that used to be on the right side of his neck??? 

 

To sum up, I think this photoset could be really great but, unfortunately, this breathtakingly beautiful young man is not exactly Benedict. What a shame. 

 

giiiiirl calm down . It's just a magazine. I agree that the photoshop overuse is rediculous but I kind of got used to it. At least they kept some wrinkles on his forehead. Better tell me about your Frenkenstein experience?

I have finally watched Star Track btw. I feel like I'm a hero now

Oh, you've gone through them all so quickly! I'm still in the middle of Series 1. But I've got a major Cumberbatch overdose already, don't really want to aggravate it even further ... "Frankenstein" tomorrow...  oh well...

I hope you'll enjoy it! I thought Frankenstein would be a more expressive and interesting character to play, which is why I chose this version. I would like to compare, but I think, it won't be interesting for me to rewatch the whole thing again.

I was trying not to be too quick, but how can I resist a portion of good laugher and a brilliant mood for the rest of the day, so I was listening to a couple of episodes from my way to work and a couple or so on the way back home, which makes the whole thing not that long to listent to. I feel for you , however I don't want it not to be aggrevated. I finally got to watch Van Gogh 2 days ago, and it was definitely worth watching. I mean, the whole story is interesting and insightful. I've learnt quite a few curious details about Van Gogh. As per usual, I start watching because I wanna see Ben's brilliant acting but in the end get carried away with the film and the story itself.

I know, I know  .  "I am a grown-up, respectful fan"   I think I should put it on my T-shirt.

Thank you soooooo much for posting this! I had had no idea about such an opportunity to see some of BC’s theatre work. I looked it up and, yay, “Frankenstein” IS on in a local cinema in my city! Have already booked a couple of tickets for Friday night and can’t wait!

You are very welcome! Which version are you watching? I've chosen the one where Benedict is the Creature. There is also a performance dedicated to the Fifth anniversary of the National Theatre in cinemas  but I haven't watched it yet.

I am devastated . I've finished the last episode of CB! The actual last one that was  recorded last Sunday will probably be aired near Christmas... I will retire before I get to see new Sherlock and listen to the last episode of Cabine Pressure.

I keep asking myself the same question  :notsure: .

 

 

What a coincedence! So did I, today, I'm not kidding   ! I really enjoyed the first two episodes I have listened to so far, and not just because Benedict is in it. All people involved (the writer, John Finnemore, in the first place) are doing a great job.

 

 

I must be carrying it a bit too far with my passion for BC's talent: I watched Star Trek yesterday, and I'm normally not interested in such films.

 

I really liked Benedict's work because his Khan is a really ambiguous villain driven by his human emotions, not just another staightforward bad guy. And THAT VOICE, omg . Great styling too, so sexy. I coudn't even really hate Khan (somehow I hated Captain Kirk instead, was kinda disappointed when he didn'd die after all in the end  , sorry fans).

 

But I admit I haven't watched any of the previous Star Trek films, so I can't compare Ben's Khan with the versions done by other actors.

It's ok.   I haven't watched the film yet (I really want to now though, cause I am desperate to see the badness in a full glory) but I've seen most of the clips feat. Ben as Khan, and believe, I was so rooting for him when he was trying to break someone's skull or smash someone and so wanted him to get rid of these annoying and boring heroes like Kirk and his crew. I know, it sounds weird, but I loved him being bad, probably because it was a nice contrast to his other characters from August, Third Star, Hawking and himself personally

It's so good to see that he is not only amazingly talented, but also intelligent and well-spoken.

I have watched it along with possibly around 95% interviews of his, and it's a real pleasure to hear him speak. I just enjoy how eloquent, humorous, intelligent, sweet and humble he always comes across as and oh so talkative . Is it ok to fangirl this bad when you are, well, far from your 16 ? I don't know...

Oh and I started to listen to Cabin Pressure today, it's adorable and funny! God almighty, help me!

But the film, as far as I understood, is not for the Star Track die-hard fans ( as a director himself said), so it's sort of a seperate movie and, I guess, there was no intention to keep everything as close to the older series as possible (including Khan character). I strongly believe that Benedict has done an amazing job portraying a villain. I don't compare it to the previous versions since I haven't seen them, I can only judge him as a separate hero, his own kind of villain and I really enjoy what I see. So happy they didn't kill him off .  

Because they cast him as Khan.

 

They should have let him be his own character.

 

He would have been brilliant.

 

but making him Khan was a massive mistake.

He is fantastic in the show! 

 

I absolutely hated him in Star Trek but everything else he's done is fantastic.

Why so? I haven't seen the film (and will not watch anyway), but the trailer looked pretty cool to me, I mean he looks organic as an evil hero

So am I! I remember discovering Ben on top-50 hottest man list several months ago and I was, like ,who the hell this weird looking guy is. Later on I watched Hawkins, and to say I was impressed is an understatement. It made me want to watch Sherlock, which I did.  Now I feel slightly unhealthily obsessed with the series . At least I hope he was unconscious, the idea of being burnt alive and feeling every second of it makes me wanna bawl my eyes out. 

As far as I understood from the articles that briefly mention the coroner's report, the driver died of an impact and Paul died of a mix of injuries from the impact and thermal damages. There is quite some contradictory information. The guy who claims to be one of the friends, said he got a call about the car crash and that Paul was possibly in this car, so he along with other mates took a car and rushed to the place, he saw Paul being unconscious and tried to get him out of the car. In fact, there were 7 guys overall who tried to help, but the fire was too severe and there was nothing they could do. I find this very suspicious, as I watched the video of the tragedy, and it looked like the car exploaded soon after the crash and secondly there was no one around to help near the car. It doesn't seem there was enough time to receive a call, get to the place and so on, there were literally seconds before the fire took over.

Uh, I hate when people say such things. Should a person be ashamed for feeling this way or what? There were few cases in my life that I took the death of someone I do not know personally, of a famous person, hard, much harder than you would think is normal, but it's not like I liked it or there was anything I could do about it. Sometimes you feel attached to someone because you like/admire their personalities, the characteres they play, they are part of your childhood or it might be smth. that you can't explain, maybe the vibe a certain person gives. And by "reevaluating life" the person above meant (as I see it) that such thing is just another reminder of how fragile our life is, one minute you are here, healthy and full of life, another minute anything might happen, and you also have to be very careful doing smth. that can potentially bring you harm. As for me (you may call me crazy, I don't care) these kinds of things make me question the existence of god, like, seriously, why do those who kill, rape, steal, etc. keep on living well? And here is a young talented man who is humble, has a kind heart, tries to help others, has a daughter to raise and was actually on his way from a charity event, and he dies in such a scary car crash (hopefully he died because of the the impact and not burning alive). I was questioning myself, why it upsets so much, and the answer is because it is so unfair and untimely. Nelson Mandella died just few days ago, one famous Russian actor that was really loved in my country passed last weekend, but these people had beautiful, long lives to live, they gave a lot to this world and will be remembered. Their deaths made me sad of course, but not to the point that Paul's did. They lived for 80+/90+ years, and here is a 40 y.o. man who had another 40 years ahead of him and this sh*t happens... This is smth. I can't accept.

Just had to share it guys as I am really upset.
