  1. Hi All,

So great to have xuxa's pictures on the internet now. Xuxa contacted me some four or five years ago and was generous enough to send me wonderful scans of everything Estee Lauder that she had compiled and gave me permission to put them up on my Paulina Webarchive. Unfortunately, I could never put this into practice so it's perfect that we have Bellzon.

Kalaudia, I completely agree with you. I really enjoy sharing all of my Paulina/Estee Lauder collection here. I think it's more fun to have them if we can all share them with each other.

  2. WOW!!! Xuxa, I am stunned by those breathtaking Estee Lauder pictures!!! I can definitely see why those are the "jewels" of your collection. They are truly special and rare. Thank you so much for sharing them.

And Kar, Kalaudia and Missparker - thank you all so much for the beautiful pictures you've shared recently. These last several days have been such a wonderful treat for me! Every day there are so many new and amazing pictures to see.

  3. Hello! Thank you for your compliments. I also need your help in order to find some pics.I'm looking 3 ads which were published in New York Times Magazine. The questios is: Is this magazine the same that the Sunday magazine? I bought all the Sept.88' New york Times magazine issues and the ad wasn't there.Do you know where I can find them?

Xuxa - I don't know about the New York Times pictures. There is a New York Times magazine but there is also a New York Times newspaper. Kalaudia was kind enough to send me a scan of the cover of the New York Times that has the "Woman in Velvet" ad she has and the cover says "Fashions of the Times" and Part 2 on it, which leads me to think that maybe it is a periodic supplement to the newspaper? I don't know. Maybe someone here knows about New York and can tell those of us who are a bit clueless about New York what it is we are looking for.

  4. Thank you Kar, for the information on Femme. I was hoping the article was about Paulina. Oh well.

And that last picture in that Elle France editorial does not have Paulina's face, but it is a continuation of the picture before it (see Paulina's leg on the left in that last picture)

  5. In Fashion magazine - Kate posted some time back, but I just received a copy too, so here is the complete article.

  6. Kar, thank you for the information on the "Evening Wardrobe" editorial.

Thank you Kar for those rare Bloomingdale's catalog and thank you Kar and Kalaudia for the beautiful Linea pictures.

The picture that talks about Estee Lauder colors but is not Paulina is actually a small article from the magazine (Vogue, if I recall?) talking about the different cosmetic's companies fall colors - that page covers not only Estee Lauder's colors (which were on the model on the opposite page) and Lancome's colors (which were on that model). So, it's not that Estee Lauder used a different model, the magazine was just showing us what was new for fall that year.

  7. Paulina or not?

    From U.S. New York 25th August, 1986 - hope it´s new!

Hi missparker. Yes, that is Paulina (as Jal said) and yes, it is new!! Jal has 3 others (as he just re-posted) but I've not seen this one before. Thank you so much for sharing it here.

  8. Hello there. What a lively discussion we have brewing. I just thought I'd give some input in Paulina's defense. She is not 20, nor is she 30. As someone who has recently hit 40 myself and works for Estee Lauder as a makeup artist, I know that many factors play into how good, or bad a person can look (especially after 35). That particular day, if Paulina did not have enough sleep or got up much earlier than she normally would have, got a makeup artist who just loves too much powder (a big no-no after 40) and had harsh studio lighting overhead, that very picture would be the result for pretty much any of our beloved over-40 models.

The episodes I saw of America's Next Top Model just this past season, while Paulina did not look 20 on the show, I think she looks awfully good! And I agree with FrenchKiki, a few expression lines are quite attractive on a woman. ANYONE can have a bad day, or a dreadful shot. I can probably find a less-than-flattering picture of any one of our 80's supermodels, even back in their prime, wouldn't you all agree?

I think both Paulina and Cindy are incredibly beautiful. Did they both hit their absolute most stunning peak in front of the camera over a decade ago (maybe even closer to 2?), yes...but they are both still amazing women! So, I believe we should enjoy the older pictures of them at their youthful peak, appreciate the more recent ones and all just try to get along.

  9. Hi All   ,

Hope all's well and thanks for another whack of great new pics!!!

And welcome XUXA!!! We look forward to many fantastic postings.

Here's some Lauder pics some of which I promised Red:

    a) Fall 1991, probably American Vogue (credit goes to missparker)

    b) Kinda repost but within a different context, American Photo, 1990

    c) Maskerade bei Aurel, a chain of cosmetics stores in Germany, Petra 3/93 (-> missparker)

    d) Just Blush! German Bravo Girl! Spring 1991

    Kalaudia -

Thank you so much for sharing those beautiful pictures!  Although the first picture (a) talks about the Estee Lauder colors for fall 1991, the model shown isn't Paulina.

  10. Does anyone know the accurate date and magazine of these editorials?

Hi Bill, I can help with 2 of the 4...

A Real Change - Vogue US June 1985 (I learned this just recently)

Evening Wardrobe - still don't know

Just Bare Enough - still don't know

What Makes Paulina the Most Beautiful Girl in the World? - Mademoiselle April 1986

If anyone knows about the 2nd and 3rd layouts, in addition to Bill, I also would like very much to know where they came from, as I own both of those editorials and it drives me crazy when I don't know where they are from.

I don't think these Paulina and Liv Tyler pics have been posted here. I love how slender Paulina looks in jeans!

Hi Kate, You might be right - these may not have been posted. Here's all the pics that I previously found, including the two you posted already (collected mostly from Liv Tyler's web site)
