    she wants to do high fashion ... but doing something very commercial like this with doritos :blink: i dont think thats a smart move to do right now.

    It's not like she's said she wants to do more high fashion and less commercial work is it? Has she even said she "wants to do more high fashion" at all or are people just assuming based on her recent runway appearance?

    I can hardly recognize her in that picture though.

    That IS adriana. I have that magazine and there's another smaller photo of her in the magazine with her name beside her picture. It's very photoshopped here but it's 100% her when you look at the magazine.

    Oh, I see. First time I see that cover. When is it from? Really old or?

    (Oh, BTW, the Memphis Grizzlies played the white-hot LA Lakers last night and, boy, do those Grizzlies SUCK. Marko's lucky to have a hot wife becuz his basketball team SUCKS.)

    That's great news is she's not pregnant after all. I got really disappointed in her even though a part of me was still giving her the benefit of doubt. The people at AFL seemed really adamant about this rumor (I know, I know...), but I guess we'll see soon.

    So do people think she eloped stictly BECAUSE she's pregnant? Or would she have eloped anyway regardless???

    I got to be honest. It was the FIRST thing I thought of. It may be cynical and mean, I'll admit it. But, I thought it.

    hehe yea, I thought the same thing. Most likely scenario as it looks now: Not only did she have sex before her wedding, she got knocked up before her wedding too. I guess she realized that with her past statements on virgininty and chastity, this preggo thing doesn't make her look very good so she did that insta-wed thing in order to cover it up.

    Oh well... congrats to them I guess. Soon those mini-Marko's will start popping out by the dozen :D From now on I will refer to Marko as Conquistador Jaric. He came, he saw, he conquered and then he came for real. And the wedding bells hadn't even sounded. What a stud!

    Anyway, now that the storm of the initial disappointment has been weathered and I realize I might have been overreacting based on too high expectations, I think I'm off to bed too. It's 9 AM and I feel like I haven't slept for days.

    G'night all and sorry if I freaked out and spoiled some of the excitement. I guess I just needed to vent.

    There's a reason I have more than a thousand comments in Adriana's forum and only a single one in Candice's, you know. Adriana looked better than last year and she still looks fantastic for her age.

    And with that, off I go...

    Great pics. Overall the show looks really nice this year. I like the styling of the set.

    Oh, and Selita's short haircut actually ended up looking really nice with a bit of styling.

    You're right. I edited my comment. I'm just tired. Maybe Sabriana can edit her comment too so she won't have a big pic of Candice in this thread :)

    & if you don't like Adriana & you love Candice ... just go to Candice theard, we're no trying to censure people, but this is Adriana's theard ... no the "Bashing Adriana Theard" ... You can free mind, & that's ok but if you don't like her just shut up & stop bashing her!

    I'm not bashing her. If you pay attention I've been praising her more than most everyone else here these past few days. I'm just disappointed and if I can't share my disappointment with other fans, then that kinda sucks, don't you think? If you want a place where there is ZERO criticism, where everything is praise all the time, AFL is an excellent place for you. Just saying there should be room for a little objectivity. And as you can see, I wasn't the only one who was a little disappointed.

    Not to sound harsh, but if you guys love Candice so much then go post in her thread and stop saying harsh things about Adriana JMO!

    No honey, this is not AFL. The difference between Bellazon and AFL is that here people can speak their mind freely. On AFL everything Adriana does and says is viewed through rose colored glasses. If you prefer it that way, just stick to AFL. Don't try to censure people here.

    I wanted Adriana to own this show as much as everyone else here. I didn't stay up all night for nothing.

    I don't want to start any fights, but come on, spend 5 minutes on the models section look at the models that were on the show and tell me how they looked, I know Adri said she was working out, but I would says she was working out back in 06, she was masculine, now I feel she is too skinny for my taste, and I don't have too see the show to make that conclusion...

    yea, well, I'm glad I'm not the only one here who can see her in an objective light and compare her objectively to the other models. As a long-time Adriana fan it's painful to admit.

    Funny thing is, she doesn't even look bad this year. In many ways she actually looks better than last year (except for her legs), but there's something slightly off about her make-up and seeing as some of the other models look surprisingly good, it's just hard to be super enthusiastic. Maybe I set expectations too high, seeing her look really fierce at the fitting and knowing she was going to wear the fantasy bra. Then my expectations went even higher when I learned she was going to open the show as well. And now I'm here. Sleep-deprived for staying up all night waiting for this (it's 7:16 AM here) and, well, disappointed.

    I thought that wound on her hand was a left-over from breaking her fingers! :/

    I hope so. I didn't know much about bulimia and it sounded a little crazy but I did some research and it is actually a common trait on bulimic people.

    I still don't believe she is, I guess I just wanted to hear someone dispel the theory. I still like her current shape better than her overweight shape, but she needs to be careful she doesn't go too skinny. At least she needs to add some muscle tone to those legs so they don't just look like sticks (the rest of her body is fine as is).
