    Thanks nothingless. Your continued effort to bring us these vintage gems in high quality is much appreciated. I didn't know Alessandra was also in this shoot until you mentioned it and I noticed her in the last picture.

    WHAT THE HELL!??! just went on GQ UK website and GWYNETH PALTROW is on the June cover?? It's meant to be the backstage Victoria's Secret Fashion Show shoot?? It was June last year with Alessandra on the cover. WHERE IS IT??? I've been desperate for these pics for SO LONG!! Does anyone know if and or when it's coming out??? I hope Adri gets the cover, she looked amazing for this show - 1000 x better than 2006 show. Who else would they give it to? Hopefully not Karolina?

    yea, I agree, it's a bit weird that they have decided to completely exclude Ale.

    The best explanation is that they simply don't list "inactive" models (just like they don't list retired models like Tyra Banks) and that Ale is currently considered "inactive" due to her pregnancy and therefore not eligible to appear on the list.

    But even that is a bit dodgy considering the list is called high-earning models and I'm pretty sure Ale, who is a model, earned more than some of the bottom models on that list. And it's not like she's been inactive throughout the entire period.

    So yea, I agree it does diminish the credibility of the list somewhat...

    Funny thing is, I bet more people recognize Adriana than Marko when they're out. Marko must be like "hey, what about me?" every time someone comes up and wants Adriana's picture or autograph :D

    On Saturday at around 3:45pm, Yari spots Adriana Lima arriving at a table across from ours at Serafina on 55th and Broadway. Before leaving, we decided to take a photo with her. I went up to her, apologized for interrupting and told her we were big fans. She then extended her hand and said, "Hi, my name is Adriana" with her thick Brazilian accent. I introduced myself, then Yari introduced herself. Adriana then introduced her friend, Marcos sitting with her. I asked Adriana if we could take a photo, she said "Do you have a camera?", I whipped it out from under my sweater, then she asked Marcos to take the photo.

    She stood up from the table and walked over to us, she was so tall, then again we're pretty short. That's when Yari asked if we should stand on a chair, but we don't think she got the joke. We took the photo (I was so nervous I could barely smile properly), then Yari thanked her and Marcos. She nodded saying it was nothing. Then I also thanked her as I was walking away and she nodded again saying it was nothing and winked at me. Overall she was very poised, kinda of serious but generous and accommodating. Needless to say she looked even more beautiful in person than in her photos. It was an unforgettable encounter.

    Gaaah, it's been too long since we've gotten new Adriana candids. My body is twitching convulsively and I think it's the Adriana-candid withdrawal kicking in. I need my fix :(
