Edie Campbell got the party started, sauntering out in weatherworn Frye boots – a glass of wine in one hand, an e-cigarette in the other – wearing a floor-length dress that was cut on a slightly off-kilter line (call it an empire waist gone tipsy). That uplifting, unabashedly naughty attitude set the tone for the show and was completely infectious, with models twirling on white plinths to whoops of applause from the audience which included one of London’s most important VIPs, new mayor Sadiq Khan.
