Guys, I recently developed the idea of how cool it was if VS did a Halloween inspired collection... What do you think?

Who would you want to wear which outfit?

They did this like five or six years ago. It was tied into their "Sexy Little Things" collection. They had outfits called Sexy Little Ballerina, Sexy Little Maid, and many more variations all modeled by Candice. My memory is hazy on the timeline, but I think they dropped it shortly after the Sexy Little Geisha controversy.

As far Valentine's Day go, Elsa, Martha & Candice shot with Russell for it but there's still no pictures from that either, I'm wondering if VS just decided to scratch it altogether.

The Valentine's catalogue has been online for a few weeks already. Candice is on the cover.

The inside is mostly Candice, Behati, Lais and Jac. There's some other nondescript blondes in there too, but they aren't worth the effort of learning their names.

Your singular focus on one word (wannabes) does not negate my opposition to your opinion, champagnebrulee.

You are the one who used the current batch of models and lamented the future departure of a few of them as if VS would be losing household names. If you would like to have a discussion on what you feel determines your household name status and who does and does not qualify under your standards, then I will gladly engage in that conversation with you.

As it stands, I don't think the company has any household names to lose. They have all departed.

You can throw any name in that statement as you wish, but there is a difference in someone knowing who someone is and that person being a household name.

Granted, there are different levels of fame and celebrity, but to call any of the current angels a household name is laughable to me.

How staggeringly cheap , crass and low-class can you be Victoria's Secret ??? Those so-called paparazzi photographers didn't just happen to be in St Barts at the right time and at the right place...

There are paparazzi pictures of the St Barts shoots quite often throughout the year. However, those candids that come out don't include Barbara Palvin so you probably haven't noticed their frequency.

I can't belive VS and Madoff Productions willingly chose to portray the girls in such a manner ....the shame !!!!

I think Lily's body looks awesome in it.

Glad Lily didn't get that outfit because it covered her up too much. Her post-baby body is fantastic, so it needed to be shown off, and the two outfits that she ended up with did just that. That yellow outfit that Shanina got wouldn't have done that. She also fitted for Constance's yellow monstrosity that wouldn't have shown off her body either. The two outfits that Lily ended up getting were perfect for her. The red outfit is probably one of my favorites from the show, and I'm glad she got two sets of wings.

have Lily and Adriana done an event just by themselves before?

Looks like Toni got the Ale Treatment for the Dream Angels commercial. She filmed it and did the behind the scenes video, but she isn't in the 15 second cut.

At least Doutzen gets one second of glory.

Ultimate Babe of the Year.

It was a contest held in the early days of BZ as an extension of the old contests that used to have at the ChilaX forums. Bellazon was started after that forum closed, and some of the members wanted to continue the Babe of the Year voting we used to do at ChilaX. Since anyone who won Babe of the Year couldn't be in the competition anymore (and Adriana won one of the years over at ChilaX) they basically had a contest for the ineligible models.

You would have had to be around for the ChilaX days to really understand it.

The other one looks like Behati as well to me.

That's why I added the phrase "If the information she revealed was accurate" and the word "apparently." She could have lied about everything. It would be a weirdly elaborate and unnecessary cover, but a lie nonetheless that would make it tricky to use pictures from that time period as a pregnancy test which was my intention of my post. Hard to use pictures when the truth seems to be a bit dubious. If she lied about it all, then yes she might have been pregnant there. If she was telling the truth, then no she wasn't pregnant there. Don't really care if she's pregnant or not right now. If she is, then she'll reveal the information in her own time.

Oh and a quick observation from these photos you can also see in adriana's eyes when she is pregnant they get...smaller?

She apparently wasn't pregnant yet in pictures 3-4-5 of your post. That event was before she even eloped. Her kid's birth wasn't announced until November. She also later said that the kid was born early. I'm not saying she isn't pregnant right now, but if the information she revealed regarding her first kid's birth is accurate, then she wasn't pregnant in some of the pictures you posted. It was just a good old fashioned weight gain and she happened to fall pregnant shortly after that.

Sophia didn't say anything about working for the catalog. She said she wouldn't cast Kate in the VSFS. Although she isn't the final deciding factor (she can probably be outvoted by the rest of the panel), I'm hoping Kate never makes the show either. Plus Kate worked for them almost a year ago. For whatever reason, she's yet to be back. Not complaining about that either. I'm just not a fan of Upton.

Are you new to getting the catalogs on a regular basis? VS always releases multiple covers of the swim volumes. For example in 2010 Rosie got the Volume 1, Number 1 cover and Lindsay got the Volume 1, Number 2 cover. Both catalogs were exactly the same inside.

They've been doing the alternate cover thing for years, and they do it for most of their catalogs. Like PinkCouture said, you just got an alternate cover. It doesn't have anything to do with VS realizing anything is "horrible." They just like to waste paper. If they got rid of all the alternate covers, then there would only be around 60 catalogs a year instead of close to 100.

Is it just me or is VS tweeting a lot about Jasmine Tookes these days? Are they getting tired of Lais already?

Not sure about Gracie, but Emanuela was definitely doing swim for VS when she was only 16.

They do it all the time with their shoot locations versus the taglines.

2011 Swim:

Volume 1 said "Riviera." It was shot in the Caribbean.

Volume 2 said "St Tropez." It was shot in Mexico.

Volume 3 said "Cote d'Azur." It was shot in Turks & Caicos.

The Valentine's Day cover is okay. It took me a second to recognize that as Lindsay, but it's not a bad cover. It's better than the other two for 2012 so far which feature an awkward facial expression (Lima) and an awkward pose (Swanepoel).
