Some Avril Info:

Birthdate: September 27, 1984

Sign: Libra

Hometown: Napanee, Ontario, Canada

# Avril Lavigne knew she wanted to be a singer when she was just a little kid.

# Avril Lavigne was only 12 years old when she wrote her first song.

# Avril Lavigne also taught herself to play the guitar when she was 12.

# Avril Lavigne gets compared to Alanis Morissette (although it might just be cuz they're both Canadian and female?).

# Avril Lavigne brings her own clothes to photo shoots because stylists keep trying to glam her up.

# Avril Lavigne enjoys camping, skateboarding, hunting and hockey.

:fun:

I think Avril is an incredible young lady. I'm a new fan, and I have enjoyed her last few songs. She also wrote "Break Away" by Kellie Clarkson. I also think she has a precious smile.

I would buy her CDs if I had an awful lot of money, haha.

It's no longer the 'metal sign'. It's become to be used by skate-punks and generally during rock concerts.
