Image search and photo banks?

Hi fellow bellazon members!
 

I have a question regarding searching and finding model content and photoshots and/or fashionshows.

What are your best sites? or image banks? or how do you usually find content.  (beside Bellazon that is) :D

Especially for older stuff.. like 10-15 year old.

I usually use the larger news agencies (www.anpfoto.nl, epa.eu, afpforum.com etc) but there's a lot of limitations..

 

Any tips?

Fashionanthology is good but you need to pay for subscriptoon + the pictures are  watermarked and the resolution is small. Its useful if you’re just trying to find the shows your model appeared on. There are also old magazines that are for collections pics only you can find some rare collections because not everything is available online.

For fashion shows I can add:

- vogue.com - they keep adding vintage shows
- livingly.com - runways from 2001

- europeanafashion.eu - decent images but with a small watermark

- pixelformula.com - runways from 2011, similar to fashionanthology.com

- bloomsburyfashioncentral.com - huge massive archive of vintage runways prior to 2000. Accessible through institution or library if you're a student.

- catwalkarchives.com - only for a reference, because it's absolutely impossible to get an access unless you're working for VOGUE or other big magazine

- archive.vogue.com - VOGUE archives

I don't collect print work (I'm more of an admirer than a collector), so I don't know any sites/banks for editorial photos. BZ is probably the best site because so many members scan and post so generously. Also it depends on the models you're looking for. Some members have created their own websites dedicated to specific models and their work. I can recommend to check the following ones:

When I needed photos, I went to the stock source. Thanks to the large selection, I was able to discover just what I needed, and most importantly, I was pleased with the quality. I recently found recommendations about landscape photography ideas and it turned out to be quite valuable information for me.
