Armed with acne, a broken ankle, and the fashion sense of a ninja turtle, Danika used her friendly personality and sense of humor to ease the preteen pains of transferring to a new junior high halfway through the school year. From the time she was very young, Danika wanted to model but struggled to fit her curvy body into what she thought the industry size requirements were. After graduating from college, while working behind the camera in television production on the HBO show "True Blood", Danika was scouted by a modeling agency to be a "plus size" model, allowing her to live out her dream at her natural size and shape. Off duty, Danika is passionate about wellness, specifically educating others on the benefits of healthy eating. In 2014 she launched her business, Model Meals, which offers organic, healthy meal delivery to a variety of clients.
