He has been acting for quite a while prior to this having various parts in several TV shows and movies, some being Alien: Resurrection, Rendezvous & King of the World. Five years before the premiere of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in 2000, Gary and Marg Helgenberger starred together in the pilot of an unsuccessful TV series called "Keys."
