They added strings with a regular pattern that give more structure to the whole track. Also, at the beginning, a viola replaces the female singer, which is less creepy, and when the female voice arrives she's with strings that make her warmer. They deleted the male voices completely. All in all it gives a more optimistic flavour. The regular strings also makes it more epic than the original. The female voice seems to have the same tempo in both pieces, but the strings that they added are faster and give more energy. In the original, the beat is just marked by a bell and a weirdly slow heartbeat, which makes the whole thing a bit sinister. This remix is probably too optimistic for DS (whose message is basically: it's fucked, hope is very thin, try to fight your way, but you're gonna get fucked most of the time - that's what the music is supposed to say too) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
