No sign of Carol Danvers so far.:rolingpin:

Since they are done filming, I wonder if that means she won't be in it. Maybe she will be in the next Avengers movie.  :idk:

I think the expectation was that they would do the same with Carol as they did with T'Challa and Parker, with a back door introduction in one of the bigger ensemble pieces to launch the character. However, the recent reports of the Captain Marvel solo story being set in the nineties did seem to dampen that down a bit.

I believe the Captain Marvel movie comes out two months prior to Avengers 4, though. So who knows, the end might see Danvers travel back to the present somehow.

Dunno if anyone saw this at the time, but just in case, here's the three-part Infinity War poster unveiled by Marvel at SDCC. Thanos looking rather like an angry purple version of Bruce Willis, Chris Evans looking a lot like Solid Snake.

This should be a wild ride. Box office records are going to be shattered on the weekend it comes out.

Random thoughts... :Amelie_wft:

Thor with his missing eye.

How does Hulk get from space to New York to Wakanda?

Oh crap, that shot of Vision with the scepter to his head.

Looks like we're getting the Vision/Scarlet Witch romance.

The Gauntlet with two gems, the building process begins.

I think summer box office records could be broken, but I don't think this movie will break The Force Awakens numbers. It probably has a better chance at opening weekend records than overall records.(obviously, only a guess)

Thanks @Shepherd

Here's a pretty comprehensive rundown of where we're currently at with the MCU, I believe from the same crew that brought us the Road to Civil War video a couple of years back. Really brings home how close we are to the culmination of ten years' worth of groundwork.

Thanks again @Shepherd :heythere:

I don't know how true this is, but on the MCU Facebook page there are some individuals who supposedly got to see the first thirty minutes of Infinity War. They couldn't go into specifics for obvious reasons of course, although they did say it was the scene where the Guardians meet Thor. In their brief synopsis, they mention that there were a lot of shifts in tone. The Guardians scenes with Thor brings out a quirky, unique, comedic, and bombastic cosmic feel, later on it switches over to more of the gritty, grounded, and darker aspects of the Captain America movies, with the Avengers in Wakanda and New York. So let's see. :hehe:
