yours_forever Posted January 27, 2008 Share Posted January 27, 2008 I do not smoke... my mom used to and I don't like the way it smells :yuccky: Also, they are so expensive... and i'm too poor to pick up such habits and the cancer treatments are out of the question... I'm definately too poor for that. And the smoke gives me really bad headaches. So, I think it's safe to say that this isn't a habit I'll be starting. And I think that loser thing was a bit much... what people choose to do with their lives is their choice and it isn't anyone elses business... and just because people smoke, it doesn't make them a bad person... and it doesn't mean they are idiots either... you don't know what someone else is going through and you don't know what causes them to do the things they do. Now that I have butted in and told you all my opinion I'm going to leave and I expect you all to play nice or my infomants will tell me about it and I'll be back here to beat you all with pillows! I don't really mind if other people smoke around me, first thing one of my best mates does it light one up as soon as he gets out of school. There are millions of people in the world who smoke and they all have a reason. Whether it be 'cause they're addicted, it helps them relieve stress, gives them the rebel/cool look, peer pressure, the list goes on. But as yours_forever stated, smokers know what cigs do to their bodies, but it's not like they smoke for the purpose of hurting themselves.
