The beauty and body proportions of models, particularly the HF runway ones are often in the abnormal area. I made this thread as I've always found the distinctions rather funny. Two days ago while walking in town with FL, we saw a girl that had the perfect measures for being a HF model (and maybe she already was, who knows) - very tall, very skinny, long legs, long hair, nice face. The fact of seeing such girl in reality (and not in pictures) stroke me quite much, it was... kind of unreal. But FL was even more astonished, however, in a negative way. He instantly asked me "Is she sick or something? That can´t be normal!" I wonder if it´s similar with all HF models for someone unused to seeing people like that. Most men lean towards more straight-forward beauty and find most of the HF models weird or UFO-looking (which, in the end, those girls kinda are). FL reacted positively towards Alyssa Miller and her Intimissimi ads - and most of the Intimissimi models in general - he also likes Natasha Barnard (especially her face) and Candice (got him in the Max Factor ads). They are definitely at the peak of 'the girl next door'. What is more difficult to understand are the elitist looks that the HF girls have- something like the faces at a pricey cosmetics lounge would have more of them or give him an issue of Vogue runway compilations. Another are how many top models have strong and angular facial palette like Constance J. I thought the appearance of Hailey there is quite striking compared to those other women. Genevie comes second.
