Spoiler It was nice to see the gang back together however I thought the execution of the plot was kinda weak The plotline had potential but I thought the direction, how scenes were played out and character roles were meh It did not have the spark and energy the TV show had. It was definitely lacking something. Also, Lassie wasn't in it (except for that one scene) so I think that contributed to the blandness. The actor who plays Lassie was recovering from a stroke around filming time --I hope he is ok now It was pretty lame and half-assed that they stuck the pineapple at the end. I think I didn't get to the point of thinking about the quality of the movie because I was just glad to see everyone together again. The other good aspect of watching the movie is that I have starting watching the show again. It's been long enough that I don't always remember all of the episodes.
