Usually in September but how many of the actors are filming other projects shooting should be delayed. Most stop is usually two weeks in December. katchitup Posted September 11, 2011 Share Posted September 11, 2011 I keep forgetting Gossip Girl has such long seasons (many episodes ) Just doing some research and Season 4 started filming in July 2010 and ended filming in March 2011 (22 episodes). Season 5 has about the same amount of episodes(24) so probably this season will finish filming around March too. I was thinking like Entourage where they finish filming before the season premiere but GG is way different. Hmmm interesting, I thought they had shorter seasons than that. Well that changes everything! But at least she doesn't have to film striaght until then, with cast breaks inbetween. I don't think anyone here claims to be a tweet expert... we've been burned too many times by tweets for that. But that's what makes us wary... one sighting, coming on the heels of a TIFF event organizer saying she wouldn't be able to make it because of changes to her filming schedule... and there have been no pix of her at a widely publicized event... Anyway, I saw these tweets from an extra on Savages. Was it working on Gossip Girl that first sparked your love of fashion? "No, I inherited it from my mother Elaine. My mum used to be a model and actress, and always enjoyed sewing my clothes herself when I was a kid. It was a ritual for us to roam vintage stores once a week. She inspired me to dress myself more unconventionally and to mix different styles. Gossip Girl, of course, gave me the chance to develop my passion even further. In the show I play the rich New York It-girl, who always wears the latest designer fashion. Every day I'll find new amazing pieces by the best designers in the world in my set closet. Quite a paradise! I'm getting paid to wear fancy dresses in front of the camera. What else would I want?" What are your thoughts on being considered a fashion icon? "I feel very honoured if people think that way of me but I never tried to be one. I understand why people like to see me as a fashion icon—after all, I have my own role models as well." Which style icon inspires you? "I've always adored Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. The style of their era was timeless and I'm very happy that a lot of modern designers still draw inspiration from them." Who are your favourite designers? "That list is endless. Luckily, there are so many talented and creative designers. I love the elegance of Zuhair Murad, the extravagance of Marchesa and, of course, Chanel. But I also like to wear Valentino, Zac Posen and Yoana Baraschi." Sorry for questioning that tweet, but as someone said earlier, we've been burned by uncorroborated tweets so many times, even corroborated ones can turn out wrong sometimes (Zakinthos Greece anyone?) we just take them with a grain of salt till it's confirmed by the media.
