~*BeTtY*~ Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 What does it take to be a model agent?how do you became one?Model agent in big agency..The ones that randomly discover young tall skinny girls at the mall, or just on the street..Then few years later they're supermodels...I am considering doing somehing like that since I never got the chance to be a model..I want to discover girls with so much potential that they never discovered themselves . Crackberry Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 I was walking up the street to my school when a lady walking past me stopped me & gave me her agency card.I asked her what she looked for & she said -ALWAYS tall & skinny-CHANGING - what the current "look" isfor instance - when the alien look was big she would ask more alien looking girls than she would now.Meaning some girls that would be asked a few years ago may not be asked any more. It is not something that you Qan gauge or measure, however, it Qomes with the experience and/or reputation plus success in prev trends/seasons.. some say that they have "6th sense..." Just ask the agencies if they offer such things. Also, you would then have something in your résumé that makes it easier for you to start working in this job full time. --- Another thing: most agencies differ between bookers and scouts.
