On December 9, 2016 French embassy in Chad published a Laetitia's new pic at N'Djamena confirming that Laetitia was in Baga Sola during an entire week at the end of November 2016. With war shooter Christopher Morris (1991 Robert Capa Gold Medal), the filmmaker Laetitia Casta filmed during more than ten hours to prepare the cinematographic material for a Unicef documentary movie about the kids and the school during conflicts.

On October 15, 2015, the suspected perpetrators boko haram ("Western education is forbidden" in Hausa Chadic language) killed more than 30 people a Saturday, the day where the fish market is crowded (Reuter, BBC, RFI). They recruited very young kids such as 13 year-old girls among some of kamikazes who have not been detected.
