"Me Tarzan, You Jane": The Ape Man

Jane Parker: Thank you for protecting me.

Tarzan: Me?

...

Jane Parker: I'm Jane Parker. Understand? Jane, Jane.

Rob, you win a Laetitia's pic wearing the architectural transparent black gown shot by Sean and Seng

in a new angle of view on the trocadero's place in front of the Eiffel tower and the Field of Mars.

:alien:'s tip & hint: maximize (F11) the window of the browser (IE or FF) to see the pic in 1920 x 1280.

Almost all people look at the Eiffel tower except a baby in the arms of her grandfather.

 You're welcome Mell1978!

At the time of this writing, there is a short article about the D&G front row at L'Officiel de la mode.

The second row looks at the left while the front row looks at the right.

In the middle Bianca Brandolini d'Adda looks at Laetitia

who has amazing high-heeled shoes, red lipstick and nail varnish.

Bianca Balti on the left is also very sexy.

IN CONVERSATION WITH LAETITIA CASTA

By Natalie Evans-Harding

Laetitia Casta, Bazaar's October cover star and face of Dolce & Gabbana's new fragrance 'Pour Femme', reveals her fitness regime, signature style and starring in a Richard Gere film.

Bazaar: Congratulations once again on your stunning Harper's Bazaar cover. And now you’re the face of Dolce & Gabbana fragrance too…

Casta: Yes. I’ve grown up enjoying perfume. I remember my mother’s dressing table which had beautiful antique perfume bottles displayed. They looked so ornate and special; from then on I was fascinated.

Bazaar: What do you look for in a scent?

Casta: Fresh and classic fragrances which are also incredibly feminine. I do think it’s important a perfume is wearable too, which is why I adore Pour Femme. It has those floral notes with a hint of sweetness. Fragrance is the finishing touch for me, I feel together and more complete wearing it. It’s just as important as leaving the house wearing lipstick – it’s part of my uniform I guess.

Bazaar: What about your beauty regime?

Casta: It’s low maintenance. When I’m not working, I like to wear only a little make up and keep my hair natural. As I am often shooting, the make up is more intense than I would normally wear so it’s nice to have a break from that in my free time. I love hair products and face creams which smell beautiful too and I enjoy using scented bath oils and burning scented candles. They can completely alter your mood.

Bazaar: And how do you keep in shape? Do you have a set regime?

Casta: Honestly, there’s no secret, ladies; we need to work out – there are no alternatives. I try to exercise as much as possible. I like to run, swim and walk rather than going to the gym. You can’t beat an early morning run to start the day. I am quite active, having children makes you that way because I’m always running around after them!

Bazaar: And what about fashion? You’ve been a regular in our best-dressed files of late…

Casta: I am very interested in it. Being a model makes you appreciate how hard designers work and how much passion goes into creating collections. I’m honoured to model and wear clothes created by some of the top designers in the world. It’s still so exciting to me, even now, when I put on a gorgeous gown for an event.

Bazaar: How do you dress for the red carpet ?

Casta: I enjoy the theatre of it; it’s an experience unlike any other! It’s important to feel comfortable, especially when all eyes are on you. I like to wear long gowns on the red carpet because I feel more confident and sexy, but I don’t tend to wear bright shades; I’m guilty of enjoying a black dress too often!

Bazaar: And what about everyday? How would you describe your style?

Casta: Low maintenance yet chic. I like to balance tailored pieces with some colour but I do wear a lot of black. There is something about a beautifully fitting black dress or trousers that is so stylish and feminine.

Bazaar: And is it right that you are dipping your toes into acting also?

Casta: Yes, I have parts in four films released this year. I wanted to go above and beyond my modeling career. The next stage from the catwalk is the screen, and I also feel it’s in my blood. In Arbitrage, I worked with Suzanne Sarandon and Richard Gere, which was an honour.

Bazaar: How do you find acting compared to modelling?

Casta: It sounds contradictory but I am very shy, so being an actress really helps me to reveal myself though the role. In modeling, I was already being a different woman for every garment I was wearing; I was bringing clothes to life, and now I bring characters to life in movies. I watch a at least one movie every night. I love films. I have so many at home that I could open a DVD store!
