Lkjh
^Finally! Also, it's quite funny how there's a BBC series hiatus similar to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's one.

Michael*
Sherlock to return for Christmas special and three-part seriesSherlock will return for a Christmas special and a fourth series, it has been confirmed. Filming on the special will begin in January 2015 with the three episode series shooting after that. Both Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch will return as Watson and Sherlock.A brief official plot summary has been revealed with the return of Moriarty teased. "After the briefest of exiles, Sherlock will return to face one of his biggest mysteries yet... why is Moriarty's face being broadcast on every television in the land?"Sherlock co-creator, writer and executive producer Steven Moffat said: "A special, plus a new series of three episodes - it's a record-breaking run!" Mark Gatiss added: "Series four! At last ! It's always special to return to Sherlock but this time it's even more special as we're doing... a special! Not only that, we'll then be shooting three more episodes which will take Sherlock and John Watson into deeper and darker water than ever before."Freeman previously said the busy cast and crew were finding it difficult to create time to shoot a fourth series but that a one-off feature-length episode could get made. There are no current air-dates for either the special or the fourth series.
