"So Australia's biggest fashion event, Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, is just around the corner (May 2-6). Which new faces might it springboard? Frockwriter is betting that Krystal Glynn will be among them. Spotted on Bondi Beach a week ago by The Agency's Lincoln Ferguson, the 5'11" 16 year-old Penrith schoolgirl has, reports Ferguson, already been photographed by David Shields for New Zealand's Black Magazine and shoots tomorrow with Christopher Morris for the same title, with a booking from Rene Vaile to shoot for Oyster and Holly Blake for another magazine. And she is about to be signed to New York agency DNA. "It's a scouter's paradise" says Ferguson of his Bondi HQ, where he stumbled upon Glynn stretched out on the sand, soaking up the sun in a vintage white crochet one-piece. "Everyone walking past was stopping and staring at her, she was oblivious to everything. I thought I was looking at a shot from RUSSH or old school Vogue from the 1980s”."

Discovered sunbathing at Bondi Beach in April, Krystal Glynn narrowly missed her window for the Fall show season but certainly didn’t waste any time signing with New York giant DNA Model Management in the same month. No mean feat considering DNA’s stable includes some of the biggest names in the business – think along the lines of Kristen McMenamy, Dree Hemingway and Natalia Vodianova. Glynn was notably absent from the Resort ’12 schedule, prompting rumours that DNA are holding out for something extra special in Spring. With no news as to what this mystery booking might be, we’re forced to hold our breath until the big reveal.

To accompany OneTeaspoon's latest collection, Resist. Revolt. Rebel. is a short film directed/produced by award winning film maker Taylor Steele and shot by New York based photographer Paul De Luna. The film stars recently discovered Australian model Krystal Glynn, who has been hailed as Australia's answer to Kate Moss and has clocked up impressive catwalk time for Helmet Lang, Marc Jacobs and Philosophy di Alberta Feretti in her short career.

Shot under moody skies in the rugged hinterlands of Byron Bay, Australia, the film captures the raw beauty that corresponds with the collection. Featuring Glynn as a lost soul stumbling upon a denim-wearing cult, the film takes the audience on a journey to uncover the concepts underlying Resist. Revolt. Rebel.

Like something out of a dysfunctional, fashionable fairytale, Resist. Revolt. Rebel tells it's own story, combining exotic embroidery, fringing and Aztec and oriental-inspirted prints with leather flares, chunky batwing knits and old-school slogan tees.
