Sheyda Posted November 12, 2007 Share Posted November 12, 2007 My waxer told me that a lot of women have less hair on their upper thighs due to wearing tight fitting pants/jeans ( and pants/jeans tend to be the tightest around a woman's thigh area and then get more loose around the calves ). This is true for me, at least, because I can go four to seven days without shaving my thighs versus having to shave my calves every two to three days. Sheyda Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 I have something very similar. It still takes a hell of a long time and it's easy to miss hairs. I also agree that the hairlessness lasts nowhere near up to 4 weeks. It still leaves your pores all red afterwards for a whole day, too. Rogue Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 you should wax during or just before your period because your nerves are extra sensitive I learned it in elle magazine and it's a misconception that shaving makes ur hair grow in thicker... it's just because you are shaving it off until the root and that is where the strand of hair is the thickest so when it grows out - you see the blunt end of what started at the root. waxing is still better Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
