Wow, I finally think of a nomination, and all the spot are filled! :pinch: Oh well, can't wait for it to start!

That's cool, Joe took some of his out, so I'll let you get your nomination in :)

Then we'll have 52, like a deck of cards :ninja:

Oh, I didn't see the rules and assumed it was just cover versions 1 vs. 1 :ninja: . Okay, in light of that I added the original's videos and unnominated some :ninja: as I was already trying to decide which spots to give to Layla and BabyJude but that just took care of itself :hehe: .

Okay, done :)

Just following up on Limer's pedantry though, Heard it Through the Grapevine was originally done by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles.. so that's gotta be that <_<

Do you want Marvin Gaye or Creedence as the cover version to vote on?

Donbot- You want me to give both the links to the cover & original by PM yeah?

Yes :)

Okay, here we go :ddr:

I've put the songs through a magic randomiser, so we'll go in that order :ninja:

Knockin' on Heaven's Door

I think people like nominating more than voting

@pink: You didn't split your 5 points between the two. See #3 in the 'HOW TO VOTE' bit

Original: 9

I don't like the performance in that YouTube video, but it seems Bob Dylan's people are hellbent on removing all his good videos :/

Anyway, the studio version is amazing

Cover: 7.5

Still a riproaring tune (Y)

Original x 3

Cover x 2

I'm so sorry!!

That's okay :flower:

I'd like to genuinely thank everyone involved for not nominating Van bloody Morrison's version of Comfortably Numb or anything from the I Am Sam soundtrack.

I was pretty close to nominating Nick Cave's version of Let it Be. I won't hear a bad word said against him though :ninja:

As a side note, 10 for Dylan's writing on the song itself...

Bob Dylan - 8 Not the best technical voice even in his youth, but his writing and style more than made up for it :) .

Guns n' Roses - 7 Points deducted because for some reaosn the voice is a strange fit for the song, song style and subject matter to me and almost borders on satirical :ninja: . Much prefer it on their own songs, especially ones like "Paradice City" and even the "Love and Let Die" remake. But 2 points added (from an otherwise 5) for Slash's guitar solo.

Original x4

Cover x1
