It's her decision to take a quieter season and that's ok you don't know her reasons and you need to stop being so judgmental. Let her live her life the way she wants and makes her happy. And stop judging all decisions without knowing what driven her to them. I wouldn't be surprise if sara herself if fed up with modeling, she's been doing it for 10 years now and she always said that acting is where her heart is. So maybe modeling doesn't make her happy anymore, and if it doesn't good for her for focusing on what she wants. I honestly wouldn't be surprised Sara is quite difficult to work with sometimes, yes she is a beautiful girl and whatnot but (in my opinion) you can tell she doesn't have the easiest personality. There's a reason why she almost never hangs out with any of her colleagues, except Lais, Jasmine and Sadie. It's very strange how she went from being close to a lot of people in the industry to this, not wanting to do anything with them and always going on about how modelling is not her dream and acting actually is. And regarding acting and modelling, I agree that she should get a new speech, she used it too many times hahaha. Regarding her missing the event today: Yes it's exhausting to have a 6am call time but if you are not doing any shows, the least you can do is to try to at least appear to network. FW really sets the pace for jobs the rest of the season (campaigns, covers, editorials) it's not like we are in the last day of PFW where all the models had 4 weeks of crazy work - she didn't even start working, you shouldn't cancel a Gala like the BOF500 just because you're tired. You'd think she would want to go to all these events, because of course she's a model but also to network and honestly, she could meet a lot of influential people at these events who could help her realize her "dream" job... if she really wants to become an actress she should actually do something about it. If that is well interpreted or not by her, I don't know. If Sara has a very passive aggressive personality or blunt - no idea - one of those would lead her to assume people might mean stuff that it doesn't really translate to reality. Or she can just have no filter and say things she has no ill intention with, but yet hurt people with that. Anyway, to me, it's clear she is very tired with modeling. I believe her when she says she has anxiety, ever since Saddie joked she didn't like people. If she's an introvert, it gets hard It's especially hard to pretend to like people you don't feel at ease with. However, suck it up buttercup. She chose the least welcoming jobs as an introvert. Either as a model or as an actress she needs to be shown, to mingle, to kiss as* . To smile and pretend you love the annoying Hollywood narcissistic types. It's the only way to tame the beast. Until she improves her accent/speech I doubt she will ever get a - real - acting job. To be honest, I believe she gets punched down and sulks a bit, wants to take a breath and then tries again. It's up to her if she really wants to make it far as a model or an actress. To be honest, I can see her go back to Portugal and just stay there - not now because of Oliver - she has gone to where no model has gone before there. As a fan, I wish she gets more chances and mingles more and goes even further. But no matter how strong she plays herself to be, I believe she can be stubborn but she is also very fragile. She is the one who seems to have the most drama of all the VS models - Irina and her childish comments, friends/not friends with Taylor, dislike towards Stella, friends come and go. I think she got a boyfriend and stopped giving people as much attention. it's normal. it happens. The guy she chose had a history with another model that many were close with. it all grew up from there, I think. Perhaps I am wrong. I didn't follow that closely. It was never like this, I think. she was looked at very kind and sweet and happy. I think she saw some people stepping back when she got with Oliver and people taking sides and I feel she just got jaded. She hasn't been the same Happy Sara since then, I feel. working in a not that very welcoming place is not easy. Plus there's all this shifts and changes. NO job is really guaranteed. it does take a toll. Plus a lot of her VS have their BF always by their side. Sara does not. They are long distance. Oliver is handsome and rich.
