The models they hire, esp. their Angels and ones they use most often, are a representation of their brand and business. They have to care about the love lives of these women. Also, it is easy and practical for them to ride on the coattails of the publicity these women are getting from dating popular celebrities. Until Behati started dating Adam she was second biggest girl which she has been since Rosie left 3 months into her contract to go fight robots. She was litterally everywhere in 2010 VS-Wise and it's been that way for almost 3 years and now she's dropping off completely?
