Martha Hunt, a small-town girl from Wilson, North Carolina, was destined for greatness after winning the coveted crown at a modelling competition during high school. Soon after, she headed to New York where she remains based.

Defined by her piercing blue eyes, sun-kissed golden tresses and long, lithe limbs, Martha has sauntered down the runway for the likes of Prada, Stella McCartney, Victoria’s Secret, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel. She has featured in print advertising campaigns for Miu Miu, Via Spiga, and Hugo Boss, amongst others, and has also appeared in countless editorials for top glossies including: Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine, Elle, MUSE and GQ.

Seafolly first spotted Martha in an Elle UK editorial and our gaze has been fixed on her ever since. Her sporty prowess, wide-set luminous eyes and generous Southern charm make her the perfect choice as our brand ambassador for the Seafolly Summer ’14 campaign.

She joins top international models including Miranda Kerr, Jess Hart, Marloes Horst, Behati Prinsloo and Camile Rowe whose careers have skyrocketed since being the face of Seafolly in past campaigns.

Martha was photographed splashing about the azure waters of Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays by the world-renowned photographer Enrique Badulescu.

Born in Mexico City in the 1960’s, its vibrant cultural scene without doubt shaped his artistic leanings. His work is recognised for its intense colour compositions and unique energetic vibe.

Whilst his portfolio also includes portraiture for music greats: The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Neneh Cherry and the Jungle Brothers, amongst others, Badulescu is revered for his fashion photography. His work has appeared regularly in French, American and British Vogue, Marie Claire, American and British Elle, French Glamour and The Face, whilst his roster of advertising campaigns range from make-up giant Cover Girl, through to Zara, H&M and top tier fashion houses Emporio Armani and Hermès.

Badulescu is based in New York and is represented by the leading artist management and creative content agency, Art Partner.
