That's a perfect solution.
I could as well kill myself to ensure nobody else kills me!
btw don't be scared. Run Spybot, Ad-aware, MS Antispyware and an anti-virus regularly and you will be safe.

Also check this program out:

Plus if you don't help him, there is no way he can install a program on your machine if you use anti-virus and a good firewall.

Okay, I have got those things in order. Thanks for the link. I definitely won't help him to install software in my PC!

damn it ... I've been having this problem with msn where if I add a person who is adding me it just boots me out of msn and I end up having to change my password (via the secret question, because the hack disables my password) and it's really starting to get old.

the hijacker email addresses were:

[email protected]

[email protected]

[email protected]

[email protected]

:cain: and the list keeps growing.

I never add an unknown id.

the thing is I give people my email address to people so that they can add me at school and what not .. so sometimes I'm expecting ads. What I do is add them while keeping them blocked for a while... check out their display picture and name and such ... but mehh..

what's trillian?

its an open messenger that allows you to manage all your accounts (MSN, AOL, Yahoo, ICQ, IRC) from the same application.

I like it, its clean simple and i dont need like 5 diffrent apps to talk to people over diffrent networks. Not to mention known exploits to the MSN thingy probably do not affect you since you are not running MSN.

You can use Miranda or Gaim (or now Pidgin), too. I guess all of them are safer then MSN

I had once a tool which you could use to write something as your chat partner. It's kinda cool if you say for the other person:

Someone else (but you write this):I <3 you.

You: I thought only I had feelings for you.

Someone else (but this time the real person): Oh noes, I did not write that. What the --?

Great fun for hours
