She played netball from the age of 12 to 16. CareerAt the age of 13, Gordon won a modeling competition and gained a contract with Vivien's Modeling Agency. Her modeling lead her to cities and countries such as Japan, London and Milan, where she lived for five months. Whilst modeling in London for two months she took the opportunity to travel through Europe recreationally.. In 2004, whilst preparing to move to New York, Gordon successfully auditioned for the role of Martha MacKenzie in the long-running Australian soap opera Home & Away, a character which she still plays to this day and earned her a Most Popular New Female Logie award in 2006. Personal LifeHer immediate family consist of her mother, father and older brother Ben. Her father is from New Zealand. On March 4, 2007 her boyfriend of two years, Chris Burkhardt passed away from acute myeloid leukemia at the age of 23. She has been dating Seven Network heir Ryan Stokes since early 2007.
