For those who have felt the pain and suffering of depression combined with many personal issues, know that the pain and suffering is intense and the problems seem utterly insurmountable. In many cases we still keep the charade of happiness and a normal life. Some of us like myself are lucky to have received help at the right time, which can be life saving.

The hardest part in all these cases including Ruslana's is knowing that she felt so much pain and helplessness that she lost the hold on her own life, that she had no one to help her in that most testing of times and now her loved ones are broken for life. A world lost and many worlds shattered. An incomprehensible tragedy of human life.

 Ruslana, I hope with all my heart that you are at peace and beloved in the hands of your creator

 May your family and loved ones have the strength to carry on after this incomprehensible tragedy

I came upon a picture of her a while ago and immediately thought she was one of the most gorgeous women I had ever seen. This is so sad. R.I.P.

Then again, majority of models are gorgeous and they wouldn't be in this industry and profession if not for their good looQs.

Here is an article from The Daily News:

It is not clear why Korshunova, a much-in-demand model who appeared on the covers of top fashion magazines and lived in a luxurious building on Water St., would be strapped for cash. Her lawyer declined to discuss her finances.

Vladislav Novgorodtsev, her adviser at the Roza Mira Training Center, told The News she had hinted strongly she was being fleeced, but wouldn't say by whom.

"She wasn't rich and all the money she had, she sent to her mother," he said.

---

The more and more I read about her situation the more sad and angry I get. It appears that she did not have a good support system and that Training Center didn't work. Now I see that she was suicidal 5 times before and then she was broke. She was "screwed" by her agencies or people whom she knew, good ole attorney fees, the pressure of helping her family. All of this could have been prevented through, medication, financial counselor. I am very sorry to her. I hope she is in a better place because she deserves it!

she was so beautiful and had such a bright future!!!

and this is so heartbreaking for her mother!

Ruslana Korshunova’s Mother Heartbreaking Visit

"The mother of supermodel Ruslana Korshunova paid a heartbreaking visit Thursday to the downtown apartment where her daughter spent her last tormented moments. Valentina Kutenkova, who is the mother of Ruslana, walked to the middle of Water St. and looked up in a gut-wrenching scene. Ruslana Korshunova’s former boyfriend Artem Perchenok, who escorted her, and another friend pointed up to the ninth-floor balcony from where authorities say the Kazakh beauty threw herself. Kutenkova, her eyes red from a day of tears, stared and said nothing. She looked back down and then headed into the building."
