(or COLOUR, depending where you're from) widget too afraid to try..sticks with what he knows. Well you certainly don't need colour (I'm canadian ) to make your work good. Everyone's good at different things and for me, personally, whenever I try to do a sketch simply in pencil, it bombs. Pencils just aren't my friends. NvrEnough Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Here's some progress of a current project of mine. It'll be the smallest Celtic Cross I've tried yet. Going for an 8x10. These are just the plan and a few preliminary sketches of a few knot panels I've never tried before today. Its difficult to get the line width and proportion correct so I do them large first and try to scale them down. Enjoy, critique, or just laugh. The Plan Sketches Center Arms Head- pic sucks Base Keep in mind these were done quickly and in ball point. I have a super fine point hand dipped quill style pen to do these in.
