And the outfit is just not good. Come on why are they trying to hide her figure?! The only good thing in my opinion is the shoes.i think so too.she is beautiful but i hate what she is wearing for cannes. she is to young for this look. She'll win some, she'll lose some, it's all part of playing dress up. (I think it totally rocked though. Very different than what we've seen before.) appleauto Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 i'm a little sad, she's stunning but i'd prefer to see her in a beautiful dress and with her gorgeous hair in air I completely agree...This look would have been PERFECT for The Met Gala in NY( Anna Wintour with her Punk Theme would have been in 7th Heaven) but it was so unsuitable for Cannes...Cannes is one of if not THE most glamorous and dazzling Intl Film Festival in the whole wide world where ladies come draped in designer gowns and dripping with priceless diamonds ....Yes,Barbara looked amazing and gorgeous etc etc etc but she should have worn a glamorous couture gown look that was worthy of the legendary Red Carpet at Cannes...Normally you get very few chances to wow at Cannes and she blew this one...At least lucky girl has one more chance to make amends and look drop-dead gorgeous....she better not disappoint her fans.... I only loved her spectacular make-up by L'Oreal genius Karim Rahman (her skin looked flawless and fresh) and her sexy uber-chic designer heels by Christian Louboutin...She should have at least "sexed up" her look with long,loose ,gleaming ,tumbling locks and by dropping that boxy jacket completely....The jacket and that AWFUL hair style made her look quite androgynous and boyish...and Barbara has such an angelic face and an hourglass shaped body ....the jacket and the pants did her curvy womanly body absolutely no favours....Why would you want to cover it up ?? Plus normally the rule of thumb is if you are wearing pants as evening wear pair it with a feminine top...vice-versa.....Barbara did wear a ruffled girly top under it but she then covered it up with that tailored men's style jacket....What the hell was her style team thinking .....
