Go for it. I know at her age, I was waffling all over the place, what I wanted to study in school, or if I even wanted to. She'll find her ground, and I hope she does what makes her happy. Irina Shayk has been working with Intimissimi for several years and still does La Senza and various others. So I don't really think Barbara would receive trouble from Intimissimi's end. But VS is already treating her horribly by cutting her out so she might not really be concerned with what they think; and they have no right to complain.
