When studios  rent a building or home for filming,  they agree in the contract to either return the building/house to original state , or  they will leave any changes in place that you request

Another film set video

I understand why the movie has the budget it has. Fun to see that people seem so excited that the movie is made. But I agree way too few pictures on Leo. 🙃

Apparently DeNiro injured his leg, but article states it didn't happen on set, and he was already due to be heading back to NY as not  needed on set for a few weeks

I know why we haven’t gotten any pics of Leo. According to the media, he’s completely unrecognizable 😂😂😂

If you go by when the Airbnb in Pawhuska is booked, Leo should be there now. Back in April, I wondered why the Airbnb was available the first week in May. I now know Leo was in LA for some reason.

Have you read all the Twitter jokes about it😆 really entertaining. The people in Pawhuska have respected his private space for sure, not a single pic?! or they can't even find him. In character or not.😂

How expected Mads Mikkelsen won't be a part of the remake. Beside from this Mads has nothing but warm words about Leo

Quote

Mads Mikkelsen said 'he's glad not to be a part of' Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Another Round' remake

Leonardo DiCaprio's proposed English-language remake of "Another Round" will have to go ahead without the star of the Danish original after Mads Mikkelsen said he wants no part of it.

"Another Round" is a critically-acclaimed Danish movie that won the best international feature film at the Academy Awards this year. Since then, an American remake with Leonardo DiCaprio has been touted.

But in an interview with Indie Wire, Mikkelsen said: "I'm glad not to be part of it."

"This is what we did. Unlike theater, where you can do it one year and do it again a couple years later, the little moments we do in films are happening right here and now — something interesting your fellow actor brings on set that day," Mikkelsen explained.

"I would probably want to change these scenes again. It can never happen. It's a tricky thing to replay the same character. It's better off in someone else's hands."

"Another Round" follows four high school teachers who test out a theory that maintaining a consistent level of being drunk improves one's life.

While it is unconfirmed as of yet whether DiCaprio will star in the remake himself, his production company Appian Way is one of three behind the project. The others are Endeavor Content and Makeready.

The proposed movie has been criticized by many, with some calling it an unoriginal idea that "nobody wants."

But director Thomas Vinterberg defended the remake, saying that his work has always been subject to a lot of "various interpretations" throughout his career.

"It's an interesting artistic thing to see something grow into different versions," Vinterberg said, citing the involvement of DiCaprio as one of the reasons he is "full of hope and curiosity about what they're up to."

Vinterberg agreed with Mikkelsen that the movie should star a different actor, however.

"Asking the same actor to do a different interpretation could be a little bit confusing. But I won't be the main creative force in this. That would have to be up to the people who end up doing it," Vinterberg said.

Mads Mikkelsen has thoughts about Leonardo DiCaprio's Another Round remake

Danish actor starred in the original movie.

But what does the film's star, Mad Mikkelsen, think about a new take on the movie?

"It's always tricky to make a remake but on the other hand I understand why," the Doctor Strange actor recently told EW, while publicizing his new revenge-thriller Riders of Justice. "Because even though a lot of people might watch [the original], it's not that big. Having said that I have a hunch that a lot of Americans [have] watched this one. So it's going to be interesting, the remake. There are some cultural differences with alcohol from nation to nation, especially between Denmark and America. Everyone's always like, won't they approach it really differently in America? Maybe. Maybe not. I mean the film is about embracing life and re-finding your life. I think if they get that right, they can have some freedom with the alcohol."

And yet some more thoughts of Mads joking to do a remake of one of Leos movies :D

What are your thoughts about Leonardo DiCaprio’s recently announced plans to remake Another Round? And does this mean you get to remake one of his movies?

[laughs] Hmmm. Which one? Romeo and Juliet, I’ve done that already, when I was young, in the theater.

It’s always tricky to remake a film, especially when it’s still warm. But I get it. There are still a lot of people who’d run to the theater if Leonardo was playing it—of course they would. Good luck! As long as they catch the life-affirming part of the film—people reclaiming their lives—I think they’re in good waters. Then they can deal with the alcohol philosophy, and the way that’s appropriate in America. But to catch the essence of the film, I think Leonardo is a fantastic actor and I think they can pull off something fantastic.

Just read an article with Lasse Hallström where he says that one of the projects he regretting saying no to is Catch me if you can. He speaks more about Hollywood and Leo. A good article but it is not in English. 🙃

I have never seen this, need full interview asap, please someone! Anyway, he looks way too hot, that smile.

I don’t remember seeing that either.

Set pic. He looks very different.

Extras have gotten explicit instructions that no phones/cameras are allowed on set. It looks like this was taken very sneakily.
