American decency

as an american its always fascinated me how graphic violence is A-OK

but show a little tits and ass?? maybe some sensual sex?? our 'moral majority'

shits bricks.

a society that subjugates its desires is a twisted society indeed

i see all these other countries around the world where sex is treated like it should be=

a natural part of life, and im jealous. im sure if you compared the ratios of sex crimes

in america vs. europe, i bet america leads the frigging pack

and one interesting thing about life destroying porn that the mm wants to keep off of american soil

california is the porn capitol of the WORLD

*duh**rolls eyes*

fucking bible thumpers

~gets up~ faints again~

i do agree with your reasoning..but were so behind everyone else in this world

in so many respects.. education, healthcare, finances, general philosophy

if we dont stop worrying about whos fucking who and start on the real things

our once great society's gonna burn, and ole G.W. will be playing the fiddle :(

I'm on the fence with this. I don't have children nor am I 13 year old girl (anymore). Was I wearing thongs at 13? No. But at 14 and 15 I was. Victoria's Secret catalogs were never considered "dirty" in my house and we are a conservative family. Then again, the PiNK line wasn't out when I was that age and I just had regular cotton undergarments versus ones with cherries and stars and puppy dogs.

I, personally, don't like the PiNK line. It's not my style. Would I want my 13 year-old daughter wearing sweat pants with "PiNK" written on her butt? Probably not. But I think there is a line parents' tend to walk with either being too over-protective or not enough and that is where the fault is. Many parents are so eager to blame the media for all their child's problems once they arise. And the issue is, 13, 14, and 15 year old girls don't have jobs (hell, or even cars!), unless it's your occasional babysitting job for $20 on the weekend, so where are these girls getting the money to buy said lascivious underwear? Well, they are either stealing it (which is an entire issue on its own) or Mommy Dearest is purchasing it for them. So maybe the problem isn't Victoria's Secret, but it's the parenting...
