That's early Genesis, not mid tempo '80s Genesis with Phil crooning in a lounge chair. I'm talking Peter Gabriel dressed like a nut, wall to wall prog-tastic mayhem circa 1973. I used to think it was The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway that was the album of albums but now I'm beginning to think that its actually Selling England by the Pound; this album is slaying me right now. Its crazy to think that this once completely ignored thread is now over two years old! Anyway, yes The Lamb is still the best but I maintain that the greatness of Selling England by the Pound runs it a close second. The Battle of Epping Forest still blows my mind on a regular basis!
