I thought maybe you all could help me out here. I've always called my hair brown, but it's been called blonde too, and I'd just like to know once and for all what color my hair is! :p

So would you call it?

I would say the closest colour to call your hair is "light chestnut". It's a darker reddish shade of brown. Yours has blonde too though, so I'm not sure. lol :p

Either way it's a very nice hair colour! :hehe:

batana ojon oil.... treatment or shampoo what ever. it changed my hair like no other product. I actually bought batana shampoo from a supermarket in the capital of Honduras... I know they sell a batana product at sephora that is crazy over prized, but I hear that works too.

gives you the healthiest, thickest, skinniest hair you could ever ask for.

Short, medium, or long?

Long. Almost past the middle of my back and I am 5"11'.

Blonde, red, or brunette?

Naturally brunette. Currently black with a red tint and some blonde pieces.

Dye often or leave natural?

I dye my hair, but I usually wait about 4 or 5 months in-between dye jobs.

What kind of products do you use?

Pantene Pro-V Medium-Thick Hair Solutions in Frizzy to Smooth for Conditioner, and Equate(yes, walmart brand) Medicated Dandruff Shampoo. I have eczema and I get it on my scalp sometimes and this is the only thing that will get rid of it, plus it smells like mint, yum.

Fine, thin, or thick?

Thick. Really thick. I don't know how many people, hair stylists included, have told me this.

Naturally straight, curly, or wavy?

Wavy or rather loose curls. Think Meg Ryan, Ashley Judd, or Michelle Pfeiffer.

How often do you cut your hair?

Maybe once every 3 or 4 months.

Do you prefer blondes, red-heads, or brunettes?

I am going to go ahead and answer this even though I am not male. I love Red hair, absolutely love it! But brunette comes in second. Blonde hair can be attractive, but I find my self falling for brunette and red headed woman more often.

I'm gonna ask some questions about my hair and this is the only thread for hair so...

1) My hair is super thin, and it always tangled, what should I do to prevent this problem?

2) How to increase the volume of my hair? (That limits the hairstyle :()

I've never dyed / curled / straightened my hair and I've been using a lot hair treatment but it still really dry and rough :/

Answer to 1: Do you use conditoner? Because sometimes I find it helps if you put on hair conditioner last thing in the shower, and leave it in for a few minutes, then rinse. Then when you get out, I always brush it right away and put in a towel.

Answer to 2: try blowdrying your hair when you get out of the shower. Of course that creates heat damage as well, but when you flip and dry your hair with a dryer, I find it creates more volume :)
