Why does rice (and pasta too) taste better directly from the pot than in the plate?? :chicken:

I've often found that if you let grains & pasta sit for a little bit that the texture and taste are better imo. :chicken:

Maybe the flavors meld better when you let them sit in the pot for a bit. :idk:

It could be...

But I think it could be more likely just a psychological thing.

I am not convinced whether your question is legit because, being the male partner,  BY NECESSITY I would have to watch, regardless of whether or not I wanted to. :/

Not to speak for Cult, but I believe the question for a man would be: Would you want to "watch" from the head of the bed, or really watch from the foot of the bed?

That's two very different experiences.

At the end of his life Kant asked " four bizarre questions " :

1/ What can I know ?

2/ What should I do ?

3/ What can I hope for ?

4/ What is man ?

Is that hearsay or did he actually write those down?

A famous unanswered question :

What is the meaningful of our presence on this earth ?...

Assuming that there is a meaning... ? ...

Vedrans created humans to harvest the Earth's natural resources. :chicken:

At the beginning of his book " Also  Sprach Zarathustra " Nietzsche writes  " a weird question " :

" Is there, somewhere, a sea where one can drown ? " ...

Perhaps you know this paradox... A philosophy is more important by the questions it raises than by answers it gives to these questions ...

Monkeys, crows, octopuses and others are able of answering complex questions... You can see on BZ Cute Animals page 30 an amazing raven " The ultimate problem solver " ...

I have the greatest respect for animal world...  But no animal ever asked a question...

In his famous book " An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding " David Hume asked a staggering question... But his response is... Poor... Very poor...

Nietzsche highlighted a problem of overriding importance... The spirit of revenge in human life... He asked... How to free man from the spirit of revenge ? ...

Each year, think of hundreds films based only on revenge... Blockbusters The Revenant, The Neon Demon, John Wick ...

Sometimes I feel that the only psychology in US is a psychology of revenge ...
