Public voted for it to be called 'Boaty McBoatface', but organisers opted for the RRS Sir David Attenborough
Sir David was joined by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as the ship is officially named today

Duchess of Cambridge recycles blue Alexander McQueen coat for the FOURTH time as she attends naming ceremony for RRS Sir David Attenborough
Kate, 37, paired the £2,345 coat with navy heels and a clutch bag as she 
Joined husband Prince William at Cammell Laird shipyard in Merseyside
She first wore  coat in 2014 at Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre in New Zealand
