John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyea was born on the 17th of March, 1992 in Camberwell, a district of London. However, John grew up in the city of Peckham with his mother, Abigail, a carer, his father, Samson, a Pentecostal minister, and two older sisters, Grace and Blessing. John's activism was sparked by a robust philosophy of equality and humility initiated by his parents. Having a strong mum and two older sisters, whose strength was backed by a lovely father helped John prioritise his influence on social topics such as women's rights, racial injustices, and several other civic anomalies. John's first breakout role was Moses in the comedic, sci-fi series called, Attack the Block , which aired in Great Britain 🇬🇧. But John would reach international celebrity when he acquired the role of Finn in the 2015, 2017, and 2019 Star Wars franchises. During his time on the Star Wars set, John would formulate a seemingly unbreakable bond with co-star Daisy Ridley. Since John's stint in science fiction and action films, which includes Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), the actor soon would redirect his attention toward social-based content movies.
