Does anyone have this interview of adriana? Adriana Lima on Fashion TV LONG interview couture,design,run [video unavailable] 07:56 Adriana Lima on Fashion TV Interview! I had it favorited in my youtube account but the video is no longer available. Basically its a 7 minute backstage interview with adriana. I believe this is teh early 2000's. She is modeling in sau paulo (spelling) and its brazilian fashion week. It shows clips of her walking down the run way and clips of her backstage getting make up put on. In the meantime I'll browse through this section thanks. .

Heh that one is so funny - thanks for posting! Adriana doesn't have to prove herself anymore which is why she no longer has to be stick thin. She has reached the stage where she is so famous and popular, she is allowed to weight a big more and it's not a big deal. If you look at the fashion world, all the new girls coming in and walking the runways are sketal because they are newbies who have to prove themselves. Adriana is at the stage where she's too popular. She's succeeded to the point where she no longer has to live by those unrealistic standards. Besides she look much more attractive with a bit more meat on her. Her weight gain just shows she is above and beyond the petty standards of the modeling world. She has surpassed it. The modeling world no longer treats her like an object to mold and abuse to however they like. I have a friend in the modeling business and if you aren't well-known, they treat you like a piece of meat apparently. You are nothing but an object and the people around you dictate how you should look. Adriana has power for being her own person now and looking how she wants to look. Alesandra's body looks like a boy..it's too skinny. If you were to see her in a person, she'd look like a mannequin with bones sticking out. Adriana's body is more appealing as a sex symbol now because she looks healthy. I think she still looks great although at times her weight gain can make her face appear more rounder, but other than that she's ok but I guess its because you and I are judging her by every day average people standards. If we were juding her by model standards I woul dhave to agree that she is just a bit bigger than your average top run way model. Again I don't see anything wrong as long as she's happy and healthy. Its better for her to remain a size she's capable of realistically maintaining than becoming bulemic and anorexic to make others happy.

not true. As far as I know she's seen her dad atleast once because on this messageboard there was an article where adriana talked about her life. She said that she had to go and find her father (and did) because she needed his signature on something to leave the country to start modeling. Just search "father" in adriana's section and im sure you'll find it, make the results show up as posts not threads. Also not too long ago, a few weeks ago, someone on here said that she was reconciling with her father, but I diont know how true that is

She's famous in Italy because she has a contract with a phone company running ads and doing commercials. Some you can find on youtube.

shes starting to age rapidly, i hope she isnt using hardcore drugs. She just looks tired but wouldn't surprise me if it did considering the dark side of modeling. But if she still smokes coupled with the fact that she has fair complexion could lead to premature aging and a shorter modeling career. but to me she just looks tired It is so silly that if someone proposes that she uses drugs because she looks tired. I mean would I think you're using drugs if you look tired? Haven't you read all those interviews in which she says that she has so many things to do. Would you be tired? I would. My point is that it is ridiculous to state that she's on the ''dark'' side of modelling and that she uses drugs, just by one photo. Everybody has a day when things don't work out as planned. C'mon grow up. Perhaps someone is proposing that she is using drugs becuase there are so many people who worship supermodels. They dont think that adriana or gisele are people, but goddesses, it's all becuase they're so use to seeing them with makeup, photoshopped, dolled up, hair perfect, body toned and the whole nine yards. And because of that, people are going to be shocked and suprise to see them without makeup. Beneath all that powder, lipstick, eyeshadow, and all that workingout before a photoshoot, or runway show, getting their eyebrows waxed to perfection, they're just regular people and they look it. But becuase we're not used to seeing them that way, some of us may think that she actually looks horrible. This is why I do not beileve that there is "the most beautiful person in the world" There is no one who is perfect for that title. Not even a brazilian or european supermodel. It's the truth. I bet if adriana or alessandra had never been discovered in modeling, if they were just regular civilians, nobody would even look twice at them becuase they're just regular people and they wouldnt have someone there to doll them up like they do now. Like all of us, regular human being. So really, she's not ugly in these pictures, but also keep in mind that she was never really super great either, supermodels are supermodels and they're great to look at, but that's that. how would a music video help her career? There's nothign wrong with her. As long as she stays as beatiful as she is she will NOT have a problem getting attention or jobs.

I dont' understand it either. I guess her choice in men as far as looks may be a testament to her character in that she (as she has stated) is more concerned bout him as a person than what he/she has to offer (ie money). I mean if she really really wanted to she could just date mega millionaires, marry them, and never have to worry about anything in life again. I mean she makes good money a couple million a year but she date men worth hundres of millions maybe even a billionaire. Maybe she doesn't date models b/c she doesn't want to date a guy in the same profession. Or maybe its true that they have bigger egos than the women. As long as her BF isn't verbally abusing her or beating her to a pulp who cares who she dates as long as she's happy
