It's just that VS seems to spend a lot more energy on promoting the Supermodels than they used to. Aside from Oluchi, Emanuela and Lindsay, almost no spokesmodel did multiple campaigns. They were spokesmodels for like one and then they were gone.

I was wondering that. I read that Mini, Flavia, Michelle, and Julia supposedly had these kind of contracts before, but none of them was as prevalent as the current "Supermodel" lineup (though, Julia did come close).

Cute that she gets to do a launch right outside her hometown. If I weren't on campus, I would have gone out there to see her.

Last year one of the sketches we saw, it was the horrible balloons outfit from the Pink Segment, & it was as bad as in the sketches or maybe worse

I meant the two sketches on the right-hand side of that picture. They werent actually used were they? The Balloon one looked better in the sketch, as did Edita's "All Aboard" outfit.

Wow so much negativity guys. I kind of like that soccer one haha. Well the ball is a bit weird but I really like the lingerie piece. Looks sexy.

Same for the other ones. The lingerie looks much sexier in the pictures so far then in the past couple of years.

That's true. Weren't two of last year's sketches not even used in the show? And the ones that were used were all altered (for better or for worse)

I seriously laughed out load at the soccerball contraption They could have gone in so many (good) directions with an Athletic themed segment and they chose this route...

So I'm guessing this outfit and the boxing one will be in the same segment Atleast the wings are nice

The trick here is they have to be mostly Hispanic. I also think it's time a puerto-rican broke the cycle in VS shows.

Joan Smalls went to VS casting last year, but obviously didn't make it. I have a feeling that they regret not casting her and probably will this year

I remember thinking it was a black girl when they showed a shot of Izabel's legs last year before showing her in full. This spray tan trend is annoying.

I thought that with a few of models in the 2008 show.

Let's hope that maybe Alessandra will get something special. I doubt it. But maybe she will get a video or something. I know they didn't do that for Adriana but her year she opened the show and wore the FB. So let's hope Ale gets something special like Heidi in 07.

I think that maybe Alessandra will open the show. I reckon Candice should open a segment with the FB. I really wish they do that compared to the last two years. Just throwing the FB in the middle of a segment is so stupid.

And I also really hope they have six segments again. I didn't like they only had five last year + no closing outfits. All the girls just wore what their last runway walk outfit was.

That was just horrible, it was the worst finale ever. Is it to hard to get some extra bras&panties for the girls who didn't walk the last segment or what?

They spent that money on all the outfits for the dancers and chorus members

Alessandra, Erin, Lily, and Arlinses (sp) are all starring in the new Biofit Campaign/Ad

Behind the scenes items are just starting to be edited and put together, so it will probably debut in the upcoming months.

Yeah, that's what happened. I read it in an article a year or so ago; that she wasn't cast because she was "not thin enough" .

Yeah especially if Miranda and Doutzen are out then Adriana, Alessandra and most likely Heidi are gonna be promoted heaps. While i'm sure Rosie is going to get even more attention at the show now cause of Transformers as well as Candice.

Basically I see Alessandra wearing the FB, Adriana will open. Heidi will close the show. Rosie, Candice, Behati maybe Chanel will also open segments.

And Lindsay, Erin etc will all get some focus.

I can't really see Chanel opening a segment, unless it's PINK and that seems to be Behati's thing. Outside of PINK, she need to be one of the middle girls. I think it will be interesting to see how Emanuela fits into things. She was supposedly slated to have three outfits last year

According to New York Magazine, Jessica wasn't the initial anonymous girl that told US Weekly. Since the anonymous girl supposedly "started working for VS in 2007" it really narrows it down to a few girls
