  1. hi guys, i'm a man utd fan and definitely one of ronaldo's many admirers.

but one thing i've noticed since he came back from injury is that he doesn't look very happy anymore when he scores...

seems he still has madrid on his mind.

    and i feel so sad...

  2. hey guys, does anyone have any tips for me to improve my 5-a-side team?

at the moment we just dont seem to be able to shoot properly, and too much dribbling from one of our players...

    has anyone got suggestions?

    TeeKay!!!!! :woot:

I don't really know what you are having trouble with so I'll just comment in general. How's your touch? Touch and control are really important because of the limited space.

As for the shooting, its indoor so you don't need to whack it really hard, because accuracy is more important in smaller goals. Otherwise you guys should toe punt more because that ensures you get power with minimal back lift.

I think 5-a-side is all about movement personally and I would encourage improving your fitness, because once your fitness increases, almost everything else follows because you can move with off the ball runs, you can chase and pressure in defense, and you can keep your concentration for longer because you don't get tired as easily. Once you can run, it means you can start passing it around more and playing more 1-2s and supporting each other. (And try to encourage your team mate to pass more and dribble less. Beating a man is useful as it opens up space, but more often than not you won't be able to beat many more so encourage him to lay it off)

If you're still having trouble, I would probably suggest playing with some structure like a 2-2 or a 1-2-1 diamond formation.

Otherwise try this website http://futsal-tactics.com/ for tactics. Just place your mouse over the video window and drag your mouse L, R, U or D according to the key they provide you. Hope this helps :D

According to Wenger, the fundamentals of 5-a-side are control, movement, speed, strength and vision - and it's hard to disagree with him. See what he has to say about these things at http://www.powerleague.co.uk/arsene/.

  4. Passing, passing & more passing! :p & lots of movement from all of the players...

It's all well and good when one player has lots of skill but if he doesn't know the right time to use skill & to give it off to a team mate then it'll never work for the team...

Also practice shooting with your team mates if that's an area they/you need to improve on..

Have you got a place for training? :)

  7. hi guys:)

haven't been following football lately, just knew that the villans beat chelski.

and the other thing is that manutd is doing so badly this season=.=''

  8. I'm lazy but I can translate the interesting things.

They're talking about her career, the beginning, how happy she is, bla bla bla.

Her father, Ernani, feel sorry for her when she needs to use tall shoes (I dunno how to say), but he understands her job.

Jeisa plays soccer (or used to, cuz she was about 15 years old when this interview came out)

    Her words:

I'm the biggest fan of Gun's and Roses in the whole world"

"There's nothing better than the beautiful places in Brazil, the view is just amazing",

She fell in love for Angra dos Reis

"I love beach w/ no waves".

do you mean high heels?

  9. she needs to do something quick, I love her but she is becoming boring. VS does not promote her perfectly, I cant believe they would equate her with people like Selita and Izabel, who are not even in the same league. She needs to do some high fashion campaign or threaten to leave VS so they get scared and in return make her the lead angel

Listen, I do think Karolina is beautiful. But when compared to Izabel and Selita, she's plain. Izabel is naturally sexy, in the Brazilian way of sexiness, and Selita looks at the camera in a way that I it could melt ice.

As for being lead Angel, in my opinion Adriana or Alessandra deserve the title, because they're working for VS longer than Karolina has. And they are, along with Izabel, the two most beautiful models VS has. Not forgetting of course, Ana Beatriz Barros (who deserves to be an angel more than Miranda does) and Jeisa Chiminazzo.

(And, since I've mentioned at least five different Brazilian models in one post, I wonder if one day they're gonna open a store here in Brazil, since most of their cast is from here. I remember Ana Beatriz telling a Brazilian magazine that, when someone walks in VSFS backstage, all the person hears is Portuguese. This made me so proud of my country!)

To be quite honest with you, when you say that Izabel and Selita is better looking that Karolina, I would not object your view. But if you say KK is plain, then i totally disagree

To be honest, till this day, i still cant figure out why VS decided to make selita an angel, she, in my opinion, is the one who is plain

I suspect that, without intending to offend anyone, is becos of the "black factor" as some of the people i know call it. tyra is gone, so they need someone else to fill in, and she cannot possibly be brazillian. otherwise it wouldn't be fair, to be quite frank, although admittedly you brazillians are one of the most beautiful race on earth

As for lead angel, I think they should make the more established models to be it, ale or adriana, as you have already mentioned.

but in my opinion, i really dont think there's anything special about selita, people say KK doesn't do enough apart from VS, I think the same goes for selita as well

just a point of view of mine, feel free to discuss^^:D
