  1. Edit: I see now that the watermark is only on your Ritts posts, so apologies if that's how you found them. Frustrating nonetheless!
  2. Sante D'Orazio just dropped this on his instagram. This is an outtake from his early 90s Playboy shoot that has probably never been seen until now.
  3. Thanks for this one! I had never seen the rest of the editorial, only the Stephanie shots. It's great.
  4. AFAIK, never before seen Stephanie shot by the amazing Sante D'Orazio, courtesy of his instagram posts (first pic), and stories (4 B&W pics). I would love to see higher res versions of the car series. I've never seen those in any magazine and I wonder if they were never published.
  5. Hey, I follow that instagram account and because the timing between your posts and that account is so similar I just assumed you were the owner of the account. That is definitely aggravating that they are taking credit when you are the one acquiring the rare mags and doing the scanning! I've seen what are almost certainly my scans on instagram pages and it has never bothered me, but that's because I've had my catalogs and mags for a very long time and I'm not spending big bucks these days to make new scans. I also did not realize that you are one and the same as brazilianaffair! That explains everything
  6. According to her brother, as reported by Rolling Stone: According to Jacobs, Dean was staying in New York with her fiancé, Luke Volker, when she started experiencing some “minor” symptoms that concerned her enough asked Volker to go with her to an emergency room. She then died in a matter of hours, Jacobs says, with the exact cause of her death still pending an autopsy that was underway Wednesday. “This happened literally within the span of a day: getting a headache, going to sleep, waking up her boyfriend and saying please take me to the hospital,” Jacobs, 21, tells Rolling Stone. “We still aren’t entirely sure (what happened). There’s an autopsy being done which we know might take quite a while. But what we have heard it that there was a viral infection in her lungs,” he says. https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-news/charlbi-dean-death-brother-denies-antivax-conspiracy-theories-1234585375/
  7. Thanks for all of your posts ser-franklin! They're appreciated. Your scan quality also seems to be improving.
  8. Hi: Do you have the 1995 VS Special Clearance catalog that has this page, or previous catalogs with these pics of Heather? I may be interested in obtaining them of so. Thanks.

Hey, only just seeing your note now. Some of those photos look familiar but I couldn't tell you off the top of my head if I have that specific catalog. Everything is in storage but when I get a chance I will try to take a look.

  9. Happy birthday to Stephanie! Continuing the "rare V.S." theme, here's an original scan of an image that was out there previously at a much lower quality. Fall 1993, Victoria's Secret, 28.5 MBs UHQ.
  10. Stephanie for Victoria's Secret, Autumn 1993. My scan. This photo appeared on the cover of one of the "special edition" catalogs that were only sent to V.S. customers who ordered frequently.
  11. Amazing work! I use the same software w/ same settings and also spend a lot of time retouching/cleaning up in Photoshop. I noticed there's a bug in the version of VueScan (9.x) I'm using, where the descreen filter doesn't cover the entire image (leaves a border around the edges that's not filtered). I've been manually applying the minimum amount of gaussian blur to remove the halftone pattern, which is more accurate for preserving detail.
  12. Yeah, and I guess the Angels had served their purpose and we're totally played out (just like the V.S. fashion show), but I'm not a fan at all of the new direction V.S. is taking. The ideals of female aesthetic beauty and "sexiness" are not going anywhere, so if V.S. no longer wants to carry that torch that's fine - no shortage of other outlets happy to celebrate that kind of beauty - but it's such a complete reversal of their whole image that I could see it not working out. "Go woke, and go broke."
  13. Ralph Lauren multi-page ad, my scans, not sure of the year
  14. V.S. 1992 or 1993, my scan. I love that outfit.
