    Hair

Great topic! Do you have short, medium, or long hair? Short growing into medium; the length I look best with. Are you a blonde, red-head, or brunette? Brunette with a lot of red tones. Do you dye it often or leave it natural? I started going grey in my late 20s; now, I dye it every 5-6 weeks and highlight every other session. What kind of products do you use? Mainly Redken for now but I love Charles Worthington in the orange bottles at drugstores. It just makes my hair feel thick and shiny. I also used to go to a stylist who liked certain high-end products but said using VO5 hot oil conditioner 1-2 x/week really helped hair look better. So I do that, too. Is it fine, thin, or thick? It's on the thicker side. Is it naturally straight, curly, or wavy? Straight. How often do you cut your hair? Every 5-6 weeks I get a trim. My hair is just about back to where it used to be before it was ruined almost a year ago. I don't know if my stylist at the time was busy or her thoughts were elsewhere but what was supposed to be a coloring appointment turned into a mess when she somehow got perm solution mixed into the highlights. After 30 minutes under the dryer, my hair was ruined. I had someone else try to cut the worst parts out but it just looked worse and I ended up doing hair extensions for about six months. The thing that really bothered me about what happened was that when I went back to the original stylist the day after my appt. and showed her all the broken ends, she got a friend of hers to come over and they both told me it wasn't anything done wrong; it was the cold weather. Her friend said "four of her clients had their hair break off in the last two weeks....." Please!
  2. I am new here so apologize if this has been asked and answered. I did look but didn't find what I was looking for. Likely just in wrong spot. Anyway, as an example, I can open "Carla Bruni," but when I try to get to page 2, 3, ......upto last page of discussion, I keep landing back on first page with first comments. I also tried entering the page number I wanted to access but that didn't work either. I would appreciate any help you can provide with this as I'd like to read the comments and not add anything that's already been posted. Thank you!!!!
  3. Hi! The problem is fixed. I just changed the settings for how messages are shown and, voila, everything was fine. Thank you anyway though!
  4. Good for you: I agree; you made a choice you won't regret. I dated a guy for 4 years and, one day, while waiting in his office, I asked if I could use his PC to send a message. His nurse said he was with a patient but she didn't think he'd mind so go ahead. His emails were still on the screen and it was obvious from their headings, these were not patients or family or casual friends. There was one entitled "Dinner sweetie? Have surgery now but Tues. I'm All Yours!" His "surgery" was actually our dinner date. The topper was the one from an email address which had different initials but used his last name. Yeah, I went the intrusive route and opened that one. It was from his ex-wife about moving into his 1 bedroom house--something he was begging her to do. I sent an email from his account to his account saying someone I couldn't trust, I couldn't date." Later, I realized I always had this gut feeling about something being "off." The many calls he got out of the car to take. The way a girl in a place we were shopping came up and started talking with him about a night they'd recently seen a concert together.....The way he usually never allowed me to pick up his phone or use his email. Your ex- will not change; I truly believe these guys who take advantage of the internet to chat up and flirt with others are complete jerks and need so much stoking of their egos, they will always need an outlet like the internet to chat and fantasize. I regret not listening to my gut sooner and I will never get involved with someone who shows all the red flags of being a player again. All the best to you! Mary PS My grandmother used to say "If you're getting vibes, they're being sent." Good advice; I just need to heed it a bit more often!!!:-)
